The adapter was easy to install. I haven’t added a soundbar yet but will be going it soon.

The mount arrived on time with all components. The installer was able to install in less than 2 hrs with 3 people. We have been enjoying the remote function and it is so convenient. Kids really like the motorized version as they can operate without any trouble. Great Product.

When we planned to redo our mantel area in our family room, we wished that there were some way to better view our tv when viewing it, rather than straining our necks at its position above our fireplace. We discovered mantel mount, and it seemed to answer our hope of bringing down the tv to a more eye-level view, as well as tilting left and right. We decided to splurge on the motorized version, Well, when the work was finished, we realized immediately that we achieved our goal. The tv’s normal position is in place above the fireplace, like a picture frame. When we watch a movie, we push a button, and the tv magically lowers to a comfortable viewing height. The system is very easy and intuitive to operate. We would do this again, and highly recommend.

The MantleMount MM815 is the smoothest and one of the coolest TV accessories I have purchased. Everyone that sees it is amazing and asks where I purchased it. It looks great on the fireplace and moving it lower to eye level is incredibly nice - no sore necks having to constantly look up. It’s great when functionality allows for a nice design.

The mount is working exactly as described and how we wanted. We pull the TV down when we want to watch, and send it back when we're done. A very efficient solution!

The universal sound bar mount works, but it took several trial and error attention find a configuration that worked. I’m still not sure if I used the best option. It was probably the most confusing part of the mount

I love this mount. I would suggest putting a larger lag bolt for the stud anchors. It brings my fireplace TV down to eye level super easy.

The MantelMount RB100 recessed box is a total game changer and was the deciding factor in going with the MM540 system. Being able to recess the mount and create a clean, streamlined setup made all the difference. My “new to me” home wasn’t framed with an over-fireplace TV mount in mind since there was only a single stud. After removing that stud and adding new framing to support the RB100, installation was straightforward. I secured the box with eight lag screws directly into the new 2x4s, and it fit perfectly. The RB100 allowed me to recess the mount, clean up the entire look, and make the whole setup feel purpose-built. Highly recommend it for anyone installing a MantelMount, especially in tighter or less-ideal framing situations.

I installed the MantelMount MM540 over the fireplace in my "new to me" home, and it has exceeded every expectation. Since purchasing our home, I struggled to find a good solution for mounting a TV above the fireplace since the fireplace took up most of the living room wall and I really wanted my TV at a lower viewing height than above the mantel. I paired my 65" Samsung frame TV & Klipsch soundbar with the MM540, the RB100 recess box, and the SSB40 single-stud wall adapter. The entire setup works flawlessly. The MM540 is extremely sturdy, thoughtfully designed, and has been a true 10/10 experience. The installation instructions were clear and detailed, all hardware arrived in perfect condition, and I didn’t encounter any issues throughout the install. The only thing I did differently than in the instructions was use quite a few zip ties to secure my older soundbar to the provided rail. The TV operates smoothly in both the raised and lowered positions as well as swiveling left/right, and the viewing experience is dramatically better lowered. I would easily recommend the MM540 to anyone looking for a high-quality, above-fireplace mounting solution.
