We have had our MantelMount installed for about 3 months now, and we are loving it. It was fairly easy to install on our own, the directions and videos provided really helped. My only request is that we didn't purchase and install this first because I have holes to patch from our previous mount. :D

I love my Mantel mount. I’ve never liked having my TV above the fireplace but they’re just aren’t any other options in my living room where I could see it properly. So when I had to get a new tv I went even bigger than what I had and got a 77 inch. And I was thinking, it would be perfect if it were right in front of the fireplace. Why don’t they make a melt like that? So I did a search and found this! The only thing I wish is that I’d sprung for the extra and gotten the remote/motorized one. Even though, it’s really easy to pull out and down.

Excellent product. Sturdy. Worth the expense. I no longer get a stiff neck watching TV.

We have been doing some renovations to our living room and fireplace. Of course it isn't done as no construction project gets done done on time, but our fireplace is complete. By moving our TV over the fireplace and our 10' ceilings we had to mount the TV higher than is comfortable to actually watch TV. This mount solved that problem by allowing us to move the TV down. We also bought the recess box so the TV was more flush to the wall. We are happy customers!

This device is a quality product. Does everything for which it is designed. The instructions are not written very well. Allot is left for the installer to figure out on their own. Can't find well written documentation anymore.

Would buy it again.

It took my wife and I about 5 hours to install. We took our time and repositioned the TV a couple times on the bracket. But it was worth the effort.

Must install with at least two people, but it works great! Can be a little heavy with the 65” for my wife. The color change handle already saved us. The viewing angle is SO MUCH BETTER.

My husband and I love this TV mount. We bought a new Sonos soundbar and it fits perfectly. Pulling the TV down when we watch TV in the evenings is so nice because it’s at eye level and we don’t have to be looking up over the fireplace anymore. Installation was a little time consuming & tricky for us but once it was done, it worked perfectly! Friends who have seen this love it! We recommend it highly!

The mount was wonderful. It’s super easy to install. The video guide is helpful, but sometimes he jumps over items I feel may be important. I installed it on a 55” LG OLED ThinQ smart TV.

Love my Mantle Mount. I had my TV mounted to high and was starting to have neck issue. The 815 was the answer.

The concept and product is very good. I wish it could lower another 6 to 8 inches. A panel to cover the central metal parts would be nice!

Nice mount. Fun to show off to visitors. Not an easy install even for my skillset in maintenance and construction. Directions are good though.

Simple and easy to use.

I purchased this mount a few months ago, and since getting it installed and using it, I love everything about it. My back patio TV is mounted over the fireplace mantel, so it sits really high. I was looking for a mount that would pull out and over the mantel, and slide down for easier TV viewing. This mantel does all of that and more. If you are looking for a versatile TV mount, I highly recommend this one. It is pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion.

We don't have a fireplace mantle, but had our TV mounted quite high to clear a bookshelf underneath. This is the PERFECT mount to bring the TV to eye level when we're watching. No more cramping necks from looking up for a long show!

I purchased this as part of a living room renovation project. Refacing the fireplace, built-ins, and out with the old bulky entertainment center. This mantel mount MM540 made it possible to relocate the TV above our new custom mantel, which really opened up our living room space and allowed for rearranging furniture. Pros: -Very durable construction, high quality materials. -Good descend distance (27” I believe) -Gas assisted lowering arm makes raising and lowering fairly simple. Even with our heavy, ancient Panasonic Viera plasma screen. -Well written instructions -Clean looking install Cons: -Soundbar attachment to the ears was not very straight forward. -Installation difficulty. While I don’t blame the manufacturer for this, I am including for awareness. Thus, I’m still giving it 5 stars because of how pleased I am with the final product. This install is not for the faint of heart. Take the time to calculate placement if you plan to tackle yourself. The instructions are very helpful with this. I opted for a third party in wall media box as well, which complicated the positioning. Mantel height, mantel depth, and wall space all factor in to where you need to mount the wall brackets. So take your time and plan. Hire a pro if you’re not comfortable.
