Great mount. Works as described. Super easy to install and get it setup. Only feature request I'd make is built in cable management for the power supply so it can be tucked behind the white panels (assuming the electrical outlets are recessed behind the panels like mine are)

I absolutely love this product! I have hated the large ugly hole in my living room since I moved in 20+ years ago. I ran across a Mantlemount video and decided it was time to fix it. I decided to include the recessed box and it looks great. As for quality, excellent! It runs smooth and works perfect. Thanks for making a great product.

The MM815 mount is nearly perfect. I have enjoyed it from day one! When you adjust the tv to eye level from the raised position, you can clearly see the difference. Being able to simply push a button and have the tv move down to eye level is awesome. Not to mention the memory buttons. The one and only issue i have is with the wall plates used to cover all the wiring. Velcro strips would be nice. And if the plates were slightly larger. In my case the wiring used makes hanging the plates nearly impossible without something to hold them in place. Hence the need for the velcro.

Hiding that big bulky arm is a must for MM815 especially if your TV can be seen when walking by it. It really helps hide the cables and gives that flush appearance you would want when hanging a TV to the wall.

The mount that made it possible to remodel, reorient, and open up our family room. We knew we wanted a MantelMount mount ever since we saw it years ago. So we saved our scheckles until we could afford the full remodel, which included two new mantels on a two way fireplace, the mount, installation of a dry bar with wine fridge, drawers, overhead cabinets, marble top, electrical, networking and a new TV. It was strong and lifts the 95 lb TV with ease. Using home automation hardware and Alexa to mimic the remotes of the mount and firelplace I was able to create routines that included turning off the fireplace when lowered and raising the TV when fireplace was turned on with our voice. By moving our TV over the fireplace it allowed us to move the long side of our sectional against the wall and opened up the family room to our kitchen enlarging the space. It opened up traffic flow and allowed more people to get comfortable while still be included with the rest of the guests throughout the combined area.

Great product! Installation was easy. Makes watching TV enjoyable being able to position it where it needs to be.

It's perfectly sturdy for my oled tv. The swivel options make for a great viewing angle while im in my kitchen.

Really good mount. We can see the TV at eye level

It is easy to pull down and raise up, just as advertised. I mounted it on a stone fireplace using the anchors provide after I drilled holes with masonry bit. The template was not of much use on the highly irregular surface.

As a tech enthusiast and DIYer, I needed a serious solution for our new Sony A95L TVs (a 65" and a 77"). The 77-inch model is a 78-pound beast, and our old SANUS full-motion mount just couldn't handle the weight distribution. The slightest bump would cause the TV to suddenly tilt forward, which was terrifying. I bought two of these MM700 mounts directly from MantelMount during a July sale (for $356. 36 each) to solve this problem. The installation was manageable, but it's a project. The instructions are very clear, but we spent a couple of hours on the first one, with most of that time spent measuring, re-measuring, and strategizing how to safely lift the incredibly thin TV onto the mount. We are extremely pleased with the result. The mount is rock-solid stable on the wall, and the movement is very smooth. It does have a unique feel: you have to gently lift the TV for about 80% of the travel, and then the gas pistons take over and start lifting it for you. Your focus immediately shifts from lifting to slowing it down so it doesn't hit the wall. It’s not violent, but with an expensive TV, you can't help but baby it. We also love the safety screw, which prevents the kids from trying to move it. A couple of minor limitations: I used the official soundbar adapter for our large Samsung HW-Q990B. The soundbar is so big that it tilts forward slightly on the bracket. It also completely blocks the area for the pull-down handle, so we just don't use the handle. This isn't a deal-breaker, as we just move the TV by its frame. After 3 months of routine use, it's working perfectly. Bottom Line: This mount is a huge upgrade and the perfect solution for anyone with a heavy (60lb+) TV mounted high. It’s stable, secure, and finally gets the TV down to a comfortable eye level. I've already recommended it to family.

Great TV mount! We were putting our TV above an electric fireplace so the heat aspect wasn’t as much of a concern but being able to bring the TV down closer to eye level and store it higher up was a big benefit. Very easy/convenient to raise lower and the range of rotation is good to cover a variety of seating arrangements. Assembly and instructions are pretty straightforward. I know that’s variable person to person but the instructions do help to simplify some of the calculations. If you want to make it complicated or cause yourself some grief that is definitely an option but as long as someone installs it correctly you are bound to appreciate it.

But it was easily my favorite home entertainment upgrade for the living room. I used a Broadlink RM4 to store the remote commands and now I can have the TV move where I want it with the home automation system.
