I have a 1952 Dodge Coronet that developed a misfiring cylinder. I thought it was a valve issue, but it turned out to be a snaky crack across the top of the piston. I have found a source for replacement valves with little problem. The piston was a different matter. I was talking with someone at my local auto store. He recommended Kanter Auto. Success! They had a piston, rings, and rod bearings. It just popped up on the search. I was very grateful. The piston was a very close duplicate to the old piston. Everything fit right and the price was in line with expectations. Thank you, Kanter.

I need bushings in correct spec that can be press fit to the pivots.

No response from when I sent photos of issue with Tie Rod. Now I need to take to a machine shop and pay extra to make it fit.

All in all, the staff was patient, helpful and seemed to appreciate me spending money with them. I also ordered and have received a full front power disc brake conversion kit. I will likely order more parts from Kanter as time goes by and I need additional parts for my 57 Ranchero. Thank you for putting up with me.
