I had a blue dial Canton Day-Date Automatic and purchased the gold version as well. It is the only all gold watch that I have in my collection of over 200 watches. I wore it to a semi formal gala in NYC last week and it looked great with a black suit. I will definitely be buying more watches from Jack Mason in the future and recommend them to everyone.

Like the Quality

Not knowing anything about the brand, I bought a basic, simple model to check out its quality. After four weeks, I’ve grown to love the watch and the brand. The quality is top notch and the simple design grew on me. I would say it’s equivalent to a $1K plus watch but at a third of the price. Besides the quality, I love the way the silver dial’s hue changes depending on brightness or darkness of your surrounding. I have one recommendation for the watch designer. The brand name on the dial could be better. It looks a bit cheap relative to everything else on the watch, diminishing the elegant feel.

I was looking for a traveler GMT and had settled on Jack Mason and was trying to decide between the Pepsi, Batman or Black & Brown when the Dr Pepper was announced. That settled it. I waited for the Dr Pepper and I’m glad I did. Looked great and is comfortable on the wrist. I move through different temperature environments constantly for my job so the OTF clasp is a Godsend. The only thing I’m waiting for is for the Dr Pepper to sell out. It’d be fun to have an exclusive watch. Hoping the Limited Edition is truly limited.
