Sloan Sectional
We love our new sofa! When I ordered it back in August I really did not think it would arrive when it was initially expected to because of all the shipping containers waiting to be unloaded on the West Coast. But, it came on time and in perfect condition and is very comfy. Thank you to Quinn Fitzpatrick for all of his help and patience. The ordering process was very easy. Another plus is that our cat doesn’t seem interested in trying to scratch the blue velvet material. But, he does love sleeping on it and has claimed it for himself!

We REALLY love this sofa.
We ordered the Ainsley (which is I think no longer offered—it's a large, low sectional) in July of 2021, knowing that there would likely be issues with the supply chain. It was one hundred percent worth the wait! From the support we received with our order to the incredible customer team who kept us informed and even offered us a discount along the way, all the way down to the team who put the sofa together for us in our living room, we have been BLOWN AWAY. As if the experience wasn't already lovely enough, we have this awesome sofa! The fabric (we got an Oeko-tex certified, pet friendly one) seems VERY hard-wearing. We are pets-on-the-sofa people and our animals love it. My husband and I are so excited to both get to stretch out on the sofa at the same time! This piece was a big investment for us and it paid off to work with ID in every possible way. Thank you all so much!

Don’t waste your time or money. We ordered an Owens Left Sectional in June, and it just showed up today in late January. We are so thoroughly disappointed. The quality is in line with IKEA furniture. It’s wildly uncomfortable. Don’t fall for the misleading attractive photos like we did - look somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Don’t waste your time or money. We ordered an Owens Left Sectional in June, and it just showed up today in late January. We are so thoroughly disappointed. The quality is in line with IKEA furniture. Sloan - Performance Felt in Heather AND Sofa Fabric Code: SW
I am hoping this info is helpful. We were excited when sofa shopping with much research to find the right fit for our style, room, needs, and the company to coordinate with. We tested out sofa and fabrics at the Tysons Corner pop-up store and even changed our original order and were truly sold on the whole stain resistant factor as were told is ideal for this day and age (no more young kids or any pets at home). The Sloan and ottoman arrived Feb 2019. It was great but took months of breaking it in and still tough and hurts the hips (we are 40 somethings) and that part is fine, not a deal-breaker. In December 2021, my water bottle (I drink from the tap) tipped over when it was propped against me when I watched TV, and spilled. It created a massive dark stain which is shocking for water and for being gray fabric (apparently, tap water is 1 of the worst offenders with many minerals and stains) and we blotted with white towels and paper towels. After much research and calling Interior Define after also researching their site because no other review was helpful for our scenario, it led to different options. I called all options and ultimately decided based on research to try steam cleaning and not a product or dry clean or carpet cleaner. It was recommended to avoid harsh scotch guard type of protection. BOTTOM LINE: We recommend going with a steam cleaning company and be sure to mention SW fabric code. Apparently annual maintenance is also key which we will now be regular with as well. The cleaning was effective, it took an afternoon to completely dry and we are happy. It's not totally a stain resistant material but it can be cleaned pretty well if not 100%. I will say Milli and Morgan were helpful with their customer service. Thank you!

Extremely poor quality (products made in China) poor customer service
Called and set 3 emails with photos of my sectional. Horrible construction, the fabric was always rolling and stretching on cushions. The cushions also did not stay in place. Velcro keeps coming off, feathers poking their cushions, the little clip came off, and after the fourth attempt to contact the customer service they said they would not do anything for me because I was out of the limited time frame of warranty. also, fabric and now the frame is discontinued. Told me to look at Amazon for velcro and clips to hold cushions in place. Also, told be wrong cleaning code and suggested I buy Blue Magic cleaner which I did and tested and it left stains/marks all over the cushions. I have been in the interior design industry for a long time, the design and style of frames (which are actually knock-offs of high-end pieces is what attracted me in Interior Define in the first place, terrible low quality and not worth the high cost of there pieces

Wow!! We just received our 3 seat right bumper Sloan sectional in the color "River" and it is BEAUTIFUL! This is the perfect sectional for our new home and the color is amazing. We appreciate Regan Ringler, our design specialist, for going over and beyond for us to ensure we had the perfect sofa for our living room. She always checked in with us to keep us updated and made sure all our questions were answered. I HIGHLY recommend using Interior Define for your furniture needs. We love it!!

Very disappointed in Sloan Couch
We ordered a Sloan sofa in chalk fabric. We are very disappointed in the quality of the sofa. We have had several issues with the couch. The chalk fabric is pilling really badly. Additionally, it is staining and we have been unable to clean it with the directions provided. Even water is staining the sofa and leaving large rings. It looks really unattractive and we have to cover it with blankets. Additionally, the pillows are not holding their shape. We have had the couch less than a year and it is already in terrible shape.

Is it me or does anyone else think this place is outrageously overpriced? Especially with everyone hurting financially. They don't even offer any first time buyer discount like alot of other places. It's really sad. When I mentioned this to agent I was chatting with, she left the chat without a word....glad I didn't purchase anything yet.

Beware of Long Shipping Delays and Cancellation Fee of 25%
In a hurry, I ordered a love seat and after purchasing it noticed that it will be ready in 22-26 weeks (1/2 a year!). 2 days after I purchased the love seat, I went to cancel it due to length of time for delivery. I was told that the cancellation fee was 25% of the purchase price. After 30 days its 50%.

Down Alternative
I'm disappointed at how hard and uncomfortable the cushions are on my Sloan sectional, with down alternative material. I'm hoping they soften up, but so far remain extremely rigid.

They lost our sectional
We have been waiting on our couches for 6 months. They are now lost and no one at interior define is helpful. Everyone is nice I speak with but they really don't care to get after the shipping company. 6k worth of furniture. Would not recommend, been an absolutely terrible mess with almost no help from interior define.

I ordered a 'quick ship" item because I did not want to wait the 18 to 22 weeks it would take for a custom piece. The site said it would arrive in 2 to 3 weeks. It has been 6 weeks and I still have not received it. When I call, customer service is friendly enough, but then days turn to weeks without hearing anything. No one there can seem to find out what happened. They offered a small discount on the order, but I am doubtful it will arrive. I will update this if anything changes.

Worst delivery experience of my life, & damage to a chair!!!
Interior Define used Metropolitan Warehouse delivery service for deliver to our home. If Interior Define sets this company up for your delivery, request another service!!! Two drivers showed up, and neither spoke a word of English. The latter is a non-issue for us as we are supporters of diverse world view. That said however, someone on the crew should.have spoken English so as to create a fair and balanced delivery experience for us. Not one word of English BTW. Their "boss" they put me on the phone with wasn't much better, and could barely understand him. The delivery drivers rolled their eyes at me disrespectfully when I tried to communicate that after they opened the filthy boxes with their bare hands, it would be appreciated if they could wipe their hands off before touching the brand new velvet material on the sectional, chairs, & ottomans we paid so dearly for. SO MUCH FOR WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY! So I even provided them with individual clean rags, which they resisted using. This experience was such a joke from start to finish. Shame on you Interior Define, as whom you choose to contract with for delivery is a direct reflection on your business reputation. Not to mention we waited 6 months for these items, and I then to add injury to insult, I had to send back a camel chair that had black grease all over one corner of the chair, with multiple blue circular stains on the seat cushion, the back cushion, and a tear in the base right under the seat cushion. I won't recommend Interior Define to anyone, as the damaged chair came right out of the box, not from the drivers themselves. This should have all been done seamlessly, and you dropped the ball Interior Define!! We certainly hope our replacement chair doesn't arrive with stains and damage!

I work as an interior stylist with long distance clients, so the ease of obtaining swatches, the ability to customize, and the design collaborations with industry creatives were all big pluses. To make things even easier, I live in Boston near one of their "Guideshop" locations, so I can see product in person before recommending/purchasing. Unfortunately, after placing an order with Interior Define in early January 2021, I can safely say not only will I never purchase from them again, I will tell my clients and anyone else who asks to spend their money with a more reputable company. I was quoted 18-20 weeks for my order, which yes, is a very long lead-time. However, COVID has blown up lead-times for everyone so this wasn't a total surprise. Around week 20, delivery was scheduled. The delivery partner arrived with my two part sectional, each part packaged individually. I was informed by the delivery team that one half of the sofa they had on the truck was in a completely different color. They unpackaged the half that was correct and left. I I chalked this up to a delivery warehouse mix-up, and figured it would be resolved within a couple of days. One month later, I still have only half of a sofa. No one will tell me where the other half is, how long it will take to receive, or whether it was ever manufactured in the first place. The customer service team is either woefully understaffed or doesn't care about their customers (or both). They average one week to respond to emails and don't answer the phone or return calls after leaving a voicemail. If you want to get someone on the phone, you have to call the sales line (they answer right away there, of course!), only to have the salesperson say you have to call customer service. When I finally did receive a response, the solution they provided was to cancel my original order and place a new order with them from their "Quickship" line. This would be another 3+ week lead-time for a l...
