As discussed, there was a mixup in the entree, but it has been nicely corrected.

This was the first time I had ordered food from Instead of Flowers. I received a gift card from a group of friends when my brother passed. I must say it’s a great concept. When a love one passes you are usually bombarded with food initially and if you don’t have large freezer space a lot of the food goes to waste. Too much food all at once. Then there’s nothing. I ordered the filet mignon dinner for four and would give 5 stars for the filet, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I followed the heating instructions and the food was perfect. Like it had just been prepared. Amazing in fact. I also chose the pumpkin soup which I normally love but found it very sweet and it has the consistency of applesauce, did not eat like a soup at all. About 1/2 bowl was eaten, the rest discarded. And I have no input for the peach cobbler I ordered because it wasn’t included. The filets, potatoes, green beans were so good, I would be willing to give your business another go. I would order a different soup and hopefully get the dessert I ordered. I would like to say I did not call the company and let them know of their error like I should have.

Food was good. We got the chicken tetrazzini casserole without directions on how to cook. I had to call and ask. It was a gift certificate from a loved one. Expensive menus. I'd rather cook. It came in handy though when we were in a bind. Thankful for our loved ones to share the gift certificate with us. Very thoughtful.

The meal arrived as scheduled. Was easy to prepare for dinner. The experience and the food was very high quality. I would recommend to anyone.

Steak was extremely rate

Shrimp scampi, spaghetti, rolls, broccoli, peach cobbler and soup were delicious and all delivered on the date indicated. Instructions for heating were easy and accurate. Food was delicious.
