I absolutely love this blade. I have a decent collection of knives but have always wanted a small fixed blade for everyday use that was a high carbon for edge holding ability and ease of sharpening. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of this blade and sheath. I purchased the Headwaters Knife as a gift for someone else, but am sorely tempted to keep it for myself! From the pictures and reviews, I expected a great knife. What I received was a stunning piece of functional art. Everything about it, from the blade thickness and finish to the in-hand feel and balance, far outclass any other knife at this price point and are at the same level of those that cost much more. I recently bought 2 chef knives (one for myself and one for a gift). They are fantastic. Great quality materials. They look great. They feel great, but more importantly they work great.
