In an industry where marketing claims can feel hard to trust, I relied on independent testing from the YouTube channel Light Therapy Insiders (www.lighttherapyinsiders.*** ). Their data compared key performance specs across brands - Red & NIR wavelengths, irradiance, number of LEDs, total power (watts), EMF levels, and warranty period. Based on this objective data, the Hooga 300 consistently came out on top in my price category. The testing noted that the Hooga 300 is slightly louder than some competitors. As someone who is sound-sensitive, I personally do not find the noise bothersome at all. Beyond the product itself, the customer service truly sealed the deal. I experienced three small hiccups, all of which were handled quickly and compassionately by the Hooga team - especially Tyler. • I purchased three Hooga 300 devices as Black Friday gifts during a sale advertised as lasting until midnight. Because I live in a different time zone than their website’s domain, I missed the sale price in their system - despite purchasing before midnight my time. I reached out, and Hooga immediately acknowledged the issue and honoured the sale price. Their response came the very next day. I've experienced other retailers who don't do this. • I accidentally entered an incomplete shipping address. Tyler advised me to contact Canpar directly to amend it. While it was challenging to reach the shipper during holiday season (and while I was travelling internationally) the package arrived about a month later than expected. I truly didn’t mind the delay; some things are simply out of our control, and Hooga’s support throughout was reassuring (they advised that they will reship the product to me if it got returned to sender...

We love our Hooga Pro300. We keep it set up on our bathroom vanity and turn it on while brushing our teeth or getting ready for the day. It’s the perfect size! It’s built incredibly well and meets the same standards, functions and expectations as the more expensive comparable products. You’re not paying for the celebrity endorsements with this one. My wife and I are very happy with this purchase.

These circadian bulbs are a daily life changer! Yes, they set a energetic mood or to settle oneself: it is therapeutic to have this full spectrum bright light for focused tasks, and to wind down body and mind with the soft amber glow. The amber setting is sufficiently high wattage I can easily read with it in a darker room with it nearby as a reading lamp.

I like it but I think I need bigger. I don't think it is really doing anything. I will get a bigger one the next time there is a big sale.

I bought a Hooga red light lamp because it was stronger than the one I was using. I use red light therapy to stimulate collagen and clear up acne. Unfortunately the Hooga caused me to break out horribly so it was a waste of money and more money spent on a dermatologist to clear my skin back up. I thought it was just me (bc my other red light lamp did work to clear up my acne) but I found others on Reddit that said that the Hooga red light lamps caused acne flare up for them as well.
