When I first started drinking Keurig coffee I used to be so careful about expiry dates. Other people told me that the coffee doesn't spoil and anyway I drink so much of it it doesn't have time to spoil. There is such a great selection of Keurig coffee but I tend to drink just a few of my favorites and have not tried other ones. Maybe someday I will try a different one and see how it goes.

My Saeco Pico Barista served me faithfully for five years, but I began searching for a machine with a carafe option about a year ago. When I saw the listing for this machine I couldn't believe my good luck, as the price was far lower than even a refurbished 4400. I messaged to confirm what "open box" constituted, and the team answered that and my other questions quickly. When my package arrived, it was exactly as described. The machine itself is straightforward to operate, and we're enjoying exploring the various drink options and fine-tuning our profiles. I opted for the Philips because the brew group is identical to the Saeco that had proved so reliable and easy to maintain in my old machine. I am also enjoying the fact that the milk carafe and so many other components are dishwasher safe. Coffee was great tasting and good value. Only issue is with the courier company. Purolator is not a reliable courier. Would recommend using a more trusted courier in future.
