Overall, we're happy with our shed. Our experience with scheduling and the builder was very frustrating. The builders no-called, no-showed the first 3 appointments. That's very upsetting when you have to take time off work to be home for the builders. When the builder finally did show, they completed the build in 1 day and did a good (not great) job overall.

We ordered the modern shed in 8x10 size. Our initial date for installation was about 2 months (can't remember exactly) from purchase. The installation date was rescheduled twice. The 2nd time we were told someone was on their way and they no showed. We felt lucky to get a reschedule the next week because the customer service person explained "no one wants to come to Baltimore" for the install and all jobs are self selected. If you can't get people to install...maybe don't sell in our area? At the very least don't make comments like that. Anyway the install quality is atrocious. We have nails poking through the ceiling and sides, they clearly used the wrong size nails. We had purchased a skylight and when we saw their plans for install (cut a hole) with no proper sealing we asked them not to install it for fears of them doing a bad job. Overall the customer service representatives made us feel like they were doing us a favor by doing their job, the quality of the materials were good but the installation process was a nightmare. Hope you get a better installer than we got.

I purchased a Heartland shed after considerable research that led me to believe your products were the best value for the money and the best quality. I looked forward to the delivery and installation. My shed was delivered and installed by your Richmond, Virginia office on 8/28/2024. I was less than pleased with the construction of it which was done in a very unprofessional way. The installation of the window was extremely sloppy as was the trim. I had purchased the paint and caulk package, and both were done in a poor fashion. There were numerous areas all around the shed that were not caulked, and the edges of the trim were only primed.

It feels sturdy and durable, and I have no doubt that it will stand the test of time. The installation process was smooth, and the shed offers plenty of space for storage and more. It's already become a perfect addition to our backyard! I highly recommend Heartland sheds to anyone looking for a combination of style, functionality, and long-lasting quality. We're already getting compliments from neighbors, and it truly exceeded our expectations!

The shed came with the wrong shingles and the builder had the correct ones on site within 30 minutes. The shed went up in two days and was painted to specs the next week.

The shed itself seems to be a fine product, however, the sub contractors used to build and paint the shed were both sub par. Really disappointed that the shed floor is already popping up and the shed is invested with bugs.
