Good product overall. I really like that the feeder has the waste reduction feature. The egg roll out most of the time but it tends to get kind of dirty of the floor so sometimes the eggs get stuck. I learned recently that If you have larger quail you have to upgrade to the partridge egg roll out system. I wish that they had a middle panel to allow birds to move between two cages. I looked online and could not find one. When I asked customer support if they had a middle panel they referred me to the side panels. The waters I received with the product were the 180 version. These were not very useful as my birds strike from the side never directly from below. It would be better if they shipped them with the 360 version instead. The birds were not able to get enough water from the 180 version and acted like they were drying from thirst. I ended up up grading to a self filling cup from amazon. These worked but had leaking issues as the PVC was not designed for them. After several attempts to stop the leaks I applied water weld epoxy putty at it has been working. I purchased the 2 section quail cage. Mainly I choose to purchase this one because of space limitations in my outdoor setup. Knowing what I know now I might have purchased a three section quail cage instead because these come with a manure tray that can easily be slide in and out instead of having to lift the entire cage every time I need to clean out the manure tray. Over all it is a good product. Customer Service has always been very helpful. I do wish that they offered the option to switch out certain items when you order the product as these cages are quite expensive and if you have to purchase new egg rollouts for Jumbo quail it adds up especially when you have to pay for the shipping. In the future I will probably purchase cages from other suppliers mainly because of the price and because of the need to update the drinkers.

As a small farm hatching rare breed chickens, we needed a better brooder setup than what we'd been using. We bought the 3-tier 15-inch stack system, and it has proved to be everything we'd hoped for and needed. Our first batch of Laughing Chickens is currently enjoying the top tier, and our hatch of Sanjak Longcrowers will be joining them in the next day or two. These are well thought-out and designed units, easy to assemble and well-made. Tip for assembly: watch the video, as the printed instructions are minimal and not all that useful. Also, if you're assembling a multi-tier unit like ours, the video would have you assemble one unit, then assemble the others. I found it much more logical to assemble all three units simultaneously at each assembly stage. Regardless, this is a great product and will serve our needs for years to come!

We really like the quail cages. Our only complaint about the system is that the "poop" trays don't extend a few inches under the egg roll out chutes. Allowing some feces to get into the lower food troughs. Not a deal breaker. Just a nuisance. A future length/width change for the trays and this system would be perfect, in my opinion.

Great cages and customer support

Received faster then expected. Fairly easy to put together kinda like a puzzle. So far everything is working great and my chicks seem to love it. Will be purchasing more items!

Any problems I’ve had have been corrected in a fast manner. And there have been very few. I changed my water cups in grow out pen then did not charge me just helped me fix the problem. I will be buying another breeding pen in near future hope they have it set up for colony breeding by then but I cut decider to do that myself and it never lost any strength

Very nice went together very easy the only thing is that I got it for a present from my girlfriend, and I do not like the waters so I had some drink cups with float stoppers and I put them in instead. Much better cups. The quail just drink not tey to figure out the nupple and when the weight of the water is on the nipple it is heavy for the quail to puch. We like the new system we put in place. Thank you nice product.

Hatching time is a company for people just starting out to those who have practiced any sort of "poultry math". The respond quickly and their orders always arrive on time (sometimes even sooner than expected). All their products are well researched and thought out- from a 1 layer cage to 5 layers, egg baskets, thermometers, supplies and incubators. You really can't go wrong with any of their products.

Maybe I just had bad luck but both times I’ve placed orders there have been incorrect parts included in my shipments, however, Hatching Time has in both cases quickly responded to my messages and corrected the issue at no cost to me. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time and what is more important to me is how they correct the issue so five stars for that and for product quality but overall four stars due to order accuracy. I would still order again in the future.

I purchased a single layer and shortly ordered 2 add ons, they are full right now am completely satisfied with it, It saves a lot of work, I wasn’t to happy with the watering cups design I just couldn’t get them to shut off so I have replaced them with others. I do like them otherwise.

The cages are actually really easy to put together if you watch the videos.

I like the water and feed system. The compact tiered cage design is fantastic for space. The 2 things that are disappointing. #1 the poop trays are to small so I spent about $60 and bought automotive drip trays. #2 I was not told about the partridge floors that work better with Jumbo quail. This will cost me over $200 and I’ll have to reassemble the complete cage. It would be nice at checkout to customize your cages to the birds you will be raising. I would give five stars if I knew about the floor options before purchase.
