My partner and I recently went to a country where we can’t trust the drinking water. We bought GRAYL bottles and have been drinking the tap water confidently, keeping us hydrated for our adventures without resorting to bottled water. Yay!

cant go wrong with Grayl and their hydration systems. Everything seems to be well thought out and easily integrated with packs slings and GMODS pouches. Its worth it to build out a reliable kit that prioritizes hydration and organization for various carry all situations large and small intown and backcountry.

I like the overall Grayl system and recently added the nesting cup and carry bag, both of which integrate well and make the setup more practical for hiking and minimal travel. Those pieces feel thoughtfully designed and consistent with the modular, compact philosophy I expected. However, the coffee press accessory is confusing in how it fits into the ecosystem. I assumed it would nest inside or work directly with the metal cup designed for the filtration system, but it does not. It appears to require a different cup or configuration, which adds complexity and reduces the modular simplicity that makes the Grayl system appealing in the first place. From a field-use perspective, this creates friction. When camping or hiking, the goal is fewer components and interchangeable parts. Having a coffee press that doesn’t integrate with the existing cup means carrying additional gear, which defeats the purpose of a compact system. It’s also unclear how the coffee press is intended to be used in relation to the dirty-water and clean-water vessels. Using the dirty-water side for hot water doesn’t seem ideal, and keeping clean water separate becomes awkward with the current configuration. Overall, the filtration system and nesting cup are excellent, but the coffee press feels like it belongs to a different product line. Greater compatibility or clearer integration would make this accessory much more practical for real-world use.

The review process is a bit awkward. . . shipping was fast and flawless, and the Ti Geopress, Ti Ultrapress (yes I own both) and the Ti French Press are just amazing.
