Beyond improving the wearability of my shoes, Grant Stone has been completely customer friendly, has great products and the service was super fast, so not only did the product work as described, it was easy to use their website to order and check out, plus the items were sent out nearly immediately. I am happy I have my shoes back and I now have a place to turn to for the fix.

Big props for patient and attentive CS responsiveness. Packaging superb, befitting the boots themselves. Communication, excellent. By way of constructive criticism - I think the online sizing process could benefit mightily from the perfectionism reflected in the boots. One unalloyed criticism - I can't reconcile the high standards of Grant Stone in every other facet of the process with their selection of Fedex to usher the product through the last leg. Sloooow - and a black hole for tracking.

These shoes look fantastic and are well constructed. I went with a half size down from standard shoe size, as recommended, and this seems like the right decision for me. As noted in other reviews, there was some heel slip when first trying them on. After some wear, this has gone away. My one nitpick, which is also noted in other reviews, is that the laces are a little short. Grant Stone is nice enough to include an extra pair of laces, but these are the same length.

Consistently Impressive Quality & Service

Top quality boot

Beautiful mix of burgundy and brown. The boots have a mix of dressy due to the shape with also casual because of the lug soles. I love the brass eyelets and the slender look. The packaging was beautiful, the shoe box is very hefty and the shoe bags are high quality & soft. This is my first pair of boots and I'm hooked now. Strangely, both of the outside sides of both shoes came with mildly noticeable creasing on the upper part of the shaft (about where the ankle sits), but they get covered up by pants when actually wearing them. I'm a 9. 5D in Brannock, tried a 9D, but ended up with an 8. 5D. An 8. 5E would have been best, but they were out of stock. A shoe stretcher got me 90% of the way there.

Shipped quickly. Great packaging, but there was a small ding at the toe of one boot.

Best shoes I’ve purchased regardless of price.
