I bought my first pair of 24 oz. green wool pants back in the 90's and still wear them today. I live on 9 acres in the BC interior and wear them all the time through winter. I can't believe how long they have lasted! I bought the 28 oz. pants recently and couldn't be happier, they are even warmer and more comfortable and stylish ;-). I bought the green wool jacket years ago and it is my favorite work jacket for this time of year. I know the directions say you must dry clean but I have bought all these a little large for me and in 30 years of use I have NEVER dry cleaned. I wash them in warm water with my other outdoor clothes and just hang them to dry, no issues at all other then a little shrinkage originally which is no issue if you buy on the large size. Wool is so awesome because it still keeps you very warm even if it gets soaking wet and it lasts FOREVER!!!!

Literally, the finest made pants that I own (and this includes offerings from Sitka, Firstlite, Kuiu, etc. ) Construction & finish are premium! They are my new favourite cold weather pant for winter deer-hunting, camping, shovelling, tobagganing, etc. Incredibly quiet and durable. Couple things: they are baggy (which I love) and VERY warm, even at 18oz. They also itch (this ain't your wussy merino), so wear longer boxer briefs or LJs and it's golden.
