This review is a very long time coming. I got engaged in 2021 and I had the best experience in Fields in Newbridge with Geraldine Flood when choosing my engagement ring. She was so nice and patient with me (very indecisive) and she was almost as excited as us to be picking out my engagement ring. Then before got married this year in July 2023, myself and Michael went in to choose our wedding bands. We specifically asked for Geraldine and when we were running late she shortened her lunch break to meet with us. Again she was so patient (she had two indecisive people to deal with this time!!) and the whole experience was just great. I was back on my own after that to pick out a gift for my husband to be on his wedding day and I just can't give Geraldine enough credit. She is just a joy to deal with and is the true diamond of the Field's Store in Newbridge! Thanks a million. Patricia & Michael

Placed 2 orders 2 day's apart, received the first order, the second order was not dispatched and when I enquired as to when I would receive dispatch confirmation I was told it had been sent. They provided the same tracking number as the first order. I paid in full for both orders and they only sent 1. Absolutely deplorable customer service and are trying to scam me by saying I received an order that they have not sent

I forgot to ask the lady's name, but she was very patient with me, and my indecisive personality! Gave us all the information and the small details we kept asking her for. Very pleasant service, would definitely choose Fields again.

Sally in Kilkenny shop was an absolute pleasure to deal with we picked out our engagement ring back in June. Could not been more helpful to us. Made the experience so lovely. I recently visited the Cresant shopping centre on the hunt for an engagement ring with my fiance and we were really really impressed by Sammy who was an absolute delight to deal with. He was amazing at helping us and answer any questions we had. He was professional, friendly and overall one of the best salespersons we’ve came across while on the hunt for the perfect ring in comparison to various other stores ! Myself and my partner Peggy, visited yiur Athlone store on 11/11/2023 to choose wedding rings for our Big Day next year. We were looked after immediately by Sales Advisor, Shauna and Branch Manager Sylvia. The one to one service, professionalism, knowledge and patience shown by Shauna was outstanding and it made our experience perfect! I cannot rate Shauna, her store and her service, enough. I received a follow-up call on the Monday after from Sylvia, the Store manager, and this added more customer service and after care to our visit and purchase. Thank you so much ladies and Fields for making a special day for us even more memorable. We will definitely be back!

I was delighted with my experience in Fields, The Crescent, Limerick today. I had a repair request and made a purchase and got excellent service from Sammy. He was knowledgeable, courteous and polite and went out of his way to ensure I was happy. A great experience.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Fields Jewellers. A few months ago, my husband bought me with a beautiful chain purchased from Fields. However, the clasp broke the third time I wore it (last week). Confident in Fields’ customer service, I returned to the store with the chain, box, and receipt in hand, expecting a prompt and fair resolution. To my disappointment, the service I received was far from satisfactory. The sales representative informed me that the item was no longer under warranty and proceeded to quote a return fee of 15 euros, with an additional cost ranging from 40-60 euros for the repair. I was taken aback by the unexpected expense and the representative’s lack of empathy and willingness to assist. Feeling frustrated, I sought a second opinion and another Jewellers, conveniently located close by. They efficiently repaired the chain and charged me a mere 20 euros. This stark contrast in customer service and repair fees left me bewildered and even more disappointed with Fields Jewellers. I have been a customer of Fields for several years, happy to support a local business. However, this experience has significantly tarnished my perception of them. I hope that Jewellers takes this feedback to heart, reflecting on their customer.

My Fiance and I were shopping for Wedding bands a week or so ago and meet Lilly. She was patient and kind and listened to everything my partner and I were looking for. She helped us find the most beautiful bands and we are over the moon with both the service and rings we purchased. I will 100% be recommending this store because of the impeccable customer service we received from Lilly. She is a true credit to the team at Henry Street, Dublin.

Lily helped my fiancé and I find our perfect wedding bands! We had only planned to try some on but I can honestly say the experience with Lily was fantastic and the options she showed up and explained to us were so knowledgeable! Do not buy this ring only if you want disappointment. My partner purposed to me with this ring. On receiving I observed a small Diamond missing from the shoulder of the ring. We brought back to shop to be told a new ring would be made. 8 weeks later we received the new ring to find when we got home another small diamond was missing from the ring. 8 weeks later I now have no engagement ring and am extremely disappointed. I will have to get a new ring as unfortunately I have lost all trust in this company. The staff in the store were apologetic however, it doesn’t unfortunately compensate for the ruining of an engagement. I have emailed the sales team to escalate this issue this was in July and so still have yet to receive a conclusion for the “investigation” they were carrying out! Please do not waste your money on this ring!!!

I bought my dream engagement ring in fields 18 months ago.. It’s the worst mistake I have ever made.. I had to send my engagement ring off 6 weeks ago right before my wedding at it bent into a hoop when I washed my hands with warm water.. I got it back a few days before the wedding and wore it the day of the wedding and day after and put it away. I wire it 2 weeks ago and after having it on an hour I noticed the diamond was missing and my whole ring had snapped… I work in a office I don’t do heavy lifting, after paying €1800 for a ring I am disgusted.. it was sent off again to be told Friday it cannot be fixed and I have to pay to get a new ring, it is a joke the business they run and there staff are dog ignorant.. stay away from fields unless you want this hassle

We recently bought our engagement ring in Field's Kilkenny. Caroline looked after us & she couldn't have been more helpful. She explained everything to us & showed us many different styles of rings & was sooo patient with me especially as I couldn't make my mind up at first. I am truly delighted with my choice. I would definitely recommend Caroline if you're looking for an engagement ring. Also when we went to pick it up we were looked after by a lovely guy ( I can't remember his name, sorry!) Who took great care of us.

I got a beautiful and expensive ring from fields at the end of 2021. After about 6 months the jewel popped out. I brought it back and got a new one as they admitted it was faulty and that should not have happened. At the beginning of this year 2023 part of the ring snapped. I wanted to get a credit note or a refund because clearly this ring is faulty l, how could it keep breaking? I had to pay 75€ to have it repaired. I have several other silver rings from Pandora which were cheaper and I wear everyday and have had years and they are in perfect condition. I now can only wear this ring on special occasions and I will never buy jewellery from here again.

While shopping for both engagement ring and wedding bands my experiences in fields kilkenny was amazing the member of staff that helped me on both occasions was Darren he was a pleasure to work with in helping pick out the best rings for myself and my partner he made a very stressful experience seem effortless. He was very welcoming and from start to finish made the experience enjoyable.
