Our School loves First Book. They have great books and their services are excellent. Things do take a bit of time, but with good planning, all is possible.

I do hope you can keep going. These are very difficult times for education in the USA. The gap keeps widening between families with financial resources and those who struggle to keep afloat. First Book helps to bridge that gap.

For ten years the Bluewell Lions Club has presented every child in Pre-K through Grade 2 a set of books to encourage literacy. Annually, we give each child in our area schools two books for their private library. Because we live in an area with many low income families, the books we distribute are often the first book some students have ever owned. Without the help of First Book, our Books4Kids project would be not be possible. Thanks to First Book, we have delivered over ten thousand books to the children of southern West Virginia.

Firstbook has been a great resource for our organization for over 10 years. We built libraries for our out of school programs and allowed students that typically did not have money to buy books at the school book fairs to purchase at Firstbook to take home. I would recommend it to teachers and anyone that works with kids or adults.
