I love First Book because it creates opportunities for communities that might otherwise be out of reach. First Book has fundamentally transformed our school library and allowed us to create a book club where anyone who would like to join at our school is welcome to participate. Beyond that, First Book creates partnerships with organizations like LEGO, Pokemon, and more to allow educators and nonprofits the ability to inspire and surprise their local communities. I am forever grateful for the opportunities First Book has allowed me to imagine, create, and ultimately build additional opportunities for the young people in my community.

Great company, great purpose!

First Book offers great deals on high quality picture books. I coordinate a volunteer-powered reading buddies program and having access to excellent children's literature is key to the program's quality. I find the website to be frustrating. For example, I saved things in my cart but when I returned to the cart the items didn't show. I then added the missing books back in to my cart and then they showed as being there twice. It also takes a long time for cart edits to update. When I am making a large book order this is an issue because it takes so much time. I have been trying to put together an order for over a week but the cart issue is preventing me from completing the oder.

The students enjoy see and checking out new books. Hardcovered picture is needed in an elemenatary. With the low cost we were able to purchase many more books then we wold have otherwise be able to. Thank you for providing affordable books
