Car power cord is too short. I give it 12 months before failure since its stretched so much just to reach. Escort should have also provided a c-type power cord to plug into my dash. Cigarette lighter outlets are going the way of car CD players and the outlets are now located in a location that is usually far from the normal vehicle tech on dash.

I've only used it a couple of weeks but seems to work well and gives plenty of advance warning. I replaced an older 360 unit. What would make it much better would be that it keeps track of current speed limit rather than having one speed set for the overspeed function. Even cheap GPS navigation systems from Walmart have that ability. You would think for over $700 that would be a no brainer.

even at max screen light is not bright enough and max volume is too low , i have to push the on button at the lighter each time i start up

So far all is okay. Not really sure what the app is for or why I need it. It default on start up every time I start my vehicle. It is somewhat annoying to take control of my media everytime I restart my vehicle with the app never accomplishing anything.
