Bought the Ultralight 60 in December amd as of May the Cooler looks like it is 5 years old after 6 months of use. The finish is oxidizing. The top is buckling. And the latches have broken after only 6 months. Called Engel warranty and they will not do anything about it. I own 5 other Engel coolers but this is the first Ultralight 60. Now they lost a customer because I will never buy another Engel product again. This cooler is garbage and they refuse to stand behind it.

I can’t believe I waited so long to submit a review because I honestly cannot remember making a better purchase in my entire life. No exaggeration. I am an over-the road truck driver. I bought an MT 45 platinum model and it’s been sitting on my passenger seat for 5 years of continuous use. I am home now for my 34 hour break and shut it down but prior it was never shut off. Performed perfectly! My ROI against the purchase of ice has been great! My break even came after about 14 -16 months. And it’s been money saved ever since! And ZERO hassle. An amazing product. And the company is hard to believe. I called in to ask about maintenance ( there is none ??) I was told that the owner was at lunch but he would call me back when he returned. Uhhhh what? I mean when does that even happen? An amazing product that performs perfectly with many years of continuous use and the owner will call me back. You cannot find this kind of value literally anywhere. Buy one of the beauties and learn what o did. Engel is the way to go! The only way for me!!
