The unit is working great. We are using it as a freezer and very happy at how well it's working for us on our boat.

Great experience for what I needed ty

Ordering was simple enough. The website was easy to navigate and I was kept up to date on my order through emails, which I really appreciate.

You did bad. I called before hand because, I wanted a 35 size fridge. I spoke to a guy who seemed nice but said you wouldn’t have any until later next summer. He said you might have one in the dented and scratched section and that he’d call me the next day. Never heard from him again. I still ordered the slide and tried to me it work with a new Iceco 35, since your web site said it might work with others. It didn’t work but not your fault. I then ordered a new dometic 5 cfx 35. It worked perfect but the fit and finish of the slide was poor. No directions, it arrived with all the feet sticking out the box, partially painted underneath, and incorrect size listed. Also the front needs a cover plate. Looks like something is missing because all the tract is exposed. I wrote you the day it happened, no reply. I wrote a comment on your instagram, no reply. Obviously from the money I spent on two brand new Fridges in lest than a week I have no problem spending money for quality products that I like. I even researched your products in an Australian store call Snowys Outdoors, to see if I could get those models instead since they had more features and appeared to be better than what you sell here in USA. I am doing a build an overland build on a 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor and really wanted to use more of your products but after how things went with the sales person blowing me off and the condition the slide arrived, I can’t in good conscience refer your brand to other people. I am brutally honest. When I vouch for something, people know it is quality. When I don’t, people know not to buy it.

I bought my Engel 30qt cooler to use as a lunch box for when I worked fot the railroad as a conductor then locomotive engineer back in 2015. 10 years of being carried up onto the locomotive and back down, walking the length of the trains, in the rain, the snow and ice, in the blistering heat, and even being tossed into semi trucks when I drove truck, this cooler has lasted through it all. Just a couple weeks ago, late October 2025, after surviving all of that, while I had my lid open, my family's cat got the idea that he wanted to perch on the edge of my lid, causing the plastic hinges to hyper extend and break. Much to my surprise, I found that Engel sold METAL replacement hinges. I ordered them that morning, and got them within just a fee days, bringing back to life, my much loved "manly lunchbox". 10 out of 10, I recommend Engel to my co-workers, as I give them hard times fot having small lunch bags. Thank you Engel for making such a robust product that can stand the harshest environments.

I was recommended by a lot of my colleagues that Engel Coolers are the way to go when it comes to taking our breaks and having our lunch as a Union Carpenter! I was very excited to finally get one of my own, packaging was good, came on time, but not until recently where I found the locking mechanism a bit weird. I thought maybe I had dirt stuck in the mechanism somehow but I blew it out, cleaned it, air compressed it and nothing has changed. I’ve talked to others around me that had the same cooler same size and they said they have been nothing but good to them and had no issues whatsoever. I’m disappointed that just after a week of having this cooler the locking and opening mechanism became hard to do so and scratchy and hard to pull up and down on and would make a sound like metal on metal screeching. I had high hopes for these coolers thinking it would last me quite some time but I was wrong, if there is anything I can do to fix this annoying issue I’d be happy to try but it’s frustrating!

The order arrived on time. Happy with quality.

I like the cooler, however the air pump to my Engel cooler will not hold a charge and the protective coating on the control panel is peeling off. Brought a Frabil air pump and I am using it to keep my minnows alive while fishing. Owned the Engel air pump and cooler for 6 months.
