I had an original XPA 5 Gen 1, which I still use. It has been an amazing amp, but I needed more channels. So I upgraded to the XPA 9 Gen 3. This amp is amazing. I am using a Pioneer VSX-LX805 as my preamp. I am still using the the older XPA 5 to power my Zone 2 speakers. I have Whardale Elysian 2 as my F/L. They can dip a little lower, and the XPA 9 has no problems driving them. I can’t recommend Emotiva enough. The value for dollar is unsurpassed. I believe that there are people who have spent way more money on their systems, but I don’t believe that they can sound better than mine. It really is a thing of diminishing returns. Everyone that I sound demo my system to is completely blown away, and the XPA 9 is a big part of it. When your speakers are not starved for clean power it makes a huge difference. If you are looking for more detail and depth to your system, then the XPA series of amps will make you smile when you connect it to your system. Thanks to Dan and the whole Emotiva team for designing these products and making them affordable. I know that affordable is subjective, but if you can afford to get them, you won’t be disappointed.

Emotiva has delivered on all expectations. Both of my purchases shipped in a timely manner. My Nostala speakers and TA2+ preamp were packaged exceptionally well and sound great. I'm not good with words so I'll just say I am very happy to own these products and spend more time binge listening to my favorites

This was a very unusual application and it turned out stunning

excelente. Estoy muy contento. Utilizo un WiiM Ultra de DAC. I have it connected to a Fosi LC30, since I have a pair of bookshelf speakers and some floorstanders that I built myself. They’re not difficult speakers to drive. I previously had them connected to a Dayton HTA200, and while it performs quite acceptably, the difference became noticeable mainly with the floorstanders. There’s less compression when I listen at higher volumes—or rather, I keep turning the volume up because it always continues to sound good. The bass response is more precise, and I would say the mids are cleaner. That said, the difference is still subtle. The overall character of the amplifier isn’t drastically different. I also have a Fosi Class D amplifier that I use for testing, and… after spending time listening with the Emotiva, I can’t stand going back to it. I now have much more headroom, and it shows. The dynamic range is excellent. I’m very happy with it. I’m using a WiiM Ultra as my DAC.

The BasXPT-1 has so much value for the price, you really can’t beat it! It has all the latest features, plenty of outputs, the sound quality is spot on! My Klipsch’s are loving the signal. I am really happy with the unit. The remote is fully functional & works anywhere! Bluetooth connection is solid, FM tuner was easy as pie to set up. Can’t wait to add more components and eventually some LB12’s. Packaging is excellent, shipping was fast. Product build qualities excellent as well.
