Purchased this amp to run my Dolby Atmos speakers needless to say phenomenal couldn’t be more pleased. Customer service was spot on.

I first heard about Emotiva from the Cheap Audio Man (CAM) on YouTube. I made a spreadsheet of speakers, qualities that I needed, and price. I knew from reviews that an speaker from Emotiva would have the clarity and revealing nature that I was chasing. Over Thanksgiving, I heard on that the speakers were on sale, and I nabbed those. A couple days later, the Cheap Audio Man YouTube channel came through again with news about the BASX A2L+ 2-channel amplifier. Within 5 minutes, I'd found what I wanted on the Emotiva website and ordered it. It was a breeze. I got emails immediately after order detailing where my speakers were being made (spoiler: here in the USA, Franklin, TN) and when they might arrive. A few days later, I got an email that they were on the way with easy-to-use links to tracking. I had such a comfortable, familiar shopping experience that I ordered the amplifier before the speakers even arrived. I was that confident in the process. For a guy that orders virtually everything on Amazon, that's saying something. It all sounds sooooo good. I listen to a lot of new rock and pop. But when Live For Today by Grass Roots came on, my head spun like an owl. That guitar string sounded like it was a hand-width from my head. Wow, what an experience. I'd recommend Emotiva to any audiophile family, friends, or anyone that just doesn't know what to buy.

I have been building up the Home Theater in small increments. Have the Denon 6700H AVR and 7. 1. 4 Dolby Atmos setup. I had previously bought the Emotiva BASX-3 for the LCR channels around 2 years ago, and that went very well. Finally decided to pull the trigger and buy the amps for the remaining 8 channels, so bought two of the BASX-4 amps. Now all 11 channels are connected via the BASX amps and the Denon AVR is set to Pre-Amp mode. I must thank the Emotiva crew for walking me through the AVR versus separates conversation, a few Youtube videos which allowed me to make this decision. The result has been great and my Theater sounds even better than before. Even though I placed the order during Thanksgiving time, it was shipped promptly and I received both amps within a week's time. The instructions to setup were clear and simple.

You lot provide great quality products at excellent prices direct to consumer! Please don't change that.

I’ve been building a dedicated theater room and was curious about emotiva cause every review on YouTube was saying they were good so I bought the zero towers and there atmos speakers and I have to say they were right since then I’ve bought two amps from them to take the load of my Sony es 5000 it was like night and day the clarity was unbelievable I want to hear what there processors sound like cause I want to do everything emotiva in my theater room also the customer service is top notch if I email them they get back to me so as far as I’m concerned they have a customer for life

My new BasX A2+ has no problem driving my 87dB sensitivity, 4 Ohm KEF speakers to high volumes. I'm using an EverSolo streamer as the preamp with XLR connections and the sound is very detailed with a nice soundstage. There is no noise at low volume, and the amp says quite cool at higher volumes. Nothing in the system is really broken in yet, so I expect it will sound even better as the speakers and wiring continues to burn in. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've had this unit for a week still trying to work out the kinks. The unit has a severe handshake issue. It doesn't recognize the devices you have as inputs in your HDMI connections. You have to power up all units first then turn the MR1 if you wanted to recognize what you plan to do. If this doesn't work the first time you will be trying to get it to work for the next 45 minutes. Stay with the software it comes with do not update to their new firmware 1022 bad update has problems stay with the firmware that it comes with. I tried calling for support and the person I get doesn't know what I'm talking about. And if that person is not around they tell me leave my number he'll call me back he never does. I'm frustrated cuz I paid a lot of money for this unit I have yet to get it to work properly I've run the EQ probably six times trying to fix the mid-range problem. Still waiting to hear some dynamic range in the sound when you hear explosions something I used to hear with my Onkyo. I feel the mr1 is for people with a lot of calibration experience but if you're a beginner stay away from this unit.
