I have recently purchased several speaker brands (Polk Reserve bookshelf, ES60 tower and ES10 surrounds, RTi bookshelf and center; Klipsch RP floor, center, bookshelf and surrounds; Martin Logan F1, Monitor Audio Silver 500 7g tower with matching center, SVS Prime Tower, Ultra bookshelf, Ultra center and subs; Elac, Fluance, PSA) for music and 9. 4. 4 home theater. My top three were Klipsch, Martin Logan and Monitor Audio. I had learned a lot about sound signatures, clarity, detail and vocals from listening to all of these brands. The last speaker I tried was Emotiva and they hit the sweet spot. Emotiva speakers sound like a mix of Martin logan for clarity and detail, Klipsch for dynamic punch and Monitor Audio for fullness. Each of the mentioned speakers was lacking in one place or another that Emotiva is not lacking. Klipsch is lacking in midrange and many things get jumbled or not audible in this frequency range. Martin Logan sounds very similar to Emotiva but thin and distant. Monitor Audio high frequencies were veiled and grainy compared to the effortless clarity of a ribbon tweeter. Emotiva has the best sound. When I listen to them I do not feel like I am missing or want to change something in the sound.

Great product being made by good people

Growing up in the 70s era of HiFi, these truly bring back great memories. Big speakers with big sound stage and it keeps my system simple and the wife loves the look. Still in the break in period 15 hours so far) but they already sound amazing out of box.

The XPA-6 channel Amp made my Front Wide and 4 height speakers come alive. Clear, crisp, clean sound. In this case, more power meant better performance.

Love the XT1s. Packaging was absolutely top notch, delivery quick, the price was right and the sound is detailed and a touch warm. Perfect. Couldn't be happier.

I can only give four stars because I haven't heard my Xt1 towers nor my xc1 speakers. I had an enclave wireless surround sound but decided it was time for a clear improvement in sound quality. I started this about a month ago. I have been waiting that long for the restocking of the MR1L receiver. Now I sit down and see those beautiful speakers that I expect to have an incredible sound just look back at me wanting to show off but cannot. I have not given up waiting yet because I want the best that is affordable to me and I am trusting Emotiva to do just that. Just look how excited those three beauties are to impress me.

I got them after having heard them at a friends shop. Heard them next to the Nostalgia and they were better. I like the look of the others but I wanted the Sound so when they dropped the price it was a no brainer. I will have these blasting for ages to come I hope.
