My Eagle Creek 21" roller bag was purchased in 2012 for a trip to Japan and has since been to dozens of countries on 4 continents and every type of travel from business trips, travel all over Japan and Europe, trips through rugged areas of Costa Rica, and more. It's held up and still going strong. It was well worth the money. While slightly small (I got it so it would fit in with smaller carry-on rules on Japanese trains and European airlines), it never has issues fitting in on any airline's overhead bins. I've considered maybe I should get a slightly bigger spinner roller bag when my Eagle Creek bag gives out, but it's showing very little signs of wear and tear even after everything it's been put through. It was an incredibly great purchase.

I received a new Tarmac as a warranty claim replacement due to the frame breaking on the old one during a trip to Portugal. Had it for 18 years and travel extensively with it. Eagle Creek did not hesitate to honor their lifetime warranty and will continue to be a loyal Eagle Creek customer. A note about the new Tarmac: It is very stylish and of great Eagle Creek Quality. Updated version has fewer convenience items such as expansion capabilities, built strap to secure an extra item such as a backpack to the handle, and is dimensionally a bit smaller.
