I ordered the new compass handheld and 3 green collars. The first day was great but when I tried to pager one of the new collars it would shut off. I tried resetting the whole system and charging the collar. Nothing the results was the same it would still track, tone,& shock. But no pager. Must be a dud from the factory. The handheld was great the first day as well but for some reason the arrow that points where the dog is would be a ? mark it stayed like that for several days but I went hunting the other night and it fixed itself!

We had to order a replacement charger for our dog collar. The Dogtra team was helpful in finding the correct one for our model. The collar works great, which is why we’ve been using it for a few years. It’s helpful for our bossy barking great Pyrenees.

Easy to order and install.

I had the dogtra 200 C for 14 years on my previous dog. He passed away and when I rescued another, I found the batteries not staying charged very long so I purchased the 280 X. My dog wears the collar during the day and we go for long walks without a leash because I have total control with the collar. The durability of these collars is very impressive. The long range and features such as vibration are perfect. Admittedly, I didn’t think I would use the flashing light on the collar but walking my dog at night. I must admit it allows me to immediately spot wherever he’s at. As with any tool, these collars require some training so you and your canine know what to expect. I’ve been using dogtra collars for over 25 years and I’ve trained many dogs. If you’re thinking of purchasing one I would recommend getting some training by someone who uses electronic collars so you will be set up for success and a very happy dog.

I love this collar. I have a female gsp who was constantly getting out of our fenced in property. This product gives us the ability to track her in real time and will notify us and correct her when she gets close to the e fence. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who has an escape artist. We do not use this for hunting, as she has never been hunting in her life.
