So far so good.

I am a hot sleeper, and so is my girlfriend. We both can (and have) sweat through sheets on a given night, and having two dogs on the topcover doesn't make it any cooler. I also have hip issues that throw off my body during the day, and can make sleep very uncomfortable, tossing and turning throughout the night. With that said. . . . we set off to look for a new mattress, and although technically in the budget, we didn't feel the value of the *one* big name, higher dollar brand was REALLY all it was cracked up to be. So I did some research online, and found DLX. Replaceable/upgradeable topper section, hybrid construction, cool-sleeping reviews, enough bounce for extra-curriculars, no fiberglass, well established company, made in the USA, AND less than half the price of your box-store deluxe? Then I read about how the company handles "returns" and that was the last straw for me (in a good way), and I decided to pull the trigger after we settled on the medium, though she tends to like hers more soft and i like mine more firm (or so i thought). . . . I laid it out for the first time and hopped on, it felt like pressure was just pulled off my back. Support in all the right places. Side and back sleeping are comfortable. She is around 5'4 and I'm 6'5 and 270lbs so there is a VERY big difference in our body masses as well. The first night we both slept very comfortably, both physically and by temperature, and it's only gotten better over the last few weeks. Longevity is yet to be observed, but I seriously couldn't be any happier. You're punching way above your class and you're earning an amazing reputation. We can't recommend this bed enough.

It is the best mattress I ever had! I was concerned buying it online and having it shipped "compressed" via Fed Ex BUT it was so easy to receive and set up. Shipping was faster than I expected too. I will highly recommend your Company. Thank you!

This is an excellent company to do business with. I ordered My mattress from Them and They were Pleasant, Courteous and Professional. I ordered My mattress on 9/5/2025 especially to My specifications. I received My mattress on 9/13/25. I have been sleeping on this mattress for a month. I wake up with no pains. My old mattress was too firm and I woke up with shoulder and back pains. I was fortunate enough to be able to talk with one of the Family owners and He directed into the firmness I needed. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quality mattress and quality company to give these folks a call.

I can't praise DLX enough!! We originally started out with the king size Classic Two-Sided Mattress, though after a couple of months, the place where my Husband slept in the bed started to dip in the area where his hips rested (he's a side sleeper). I contacted DLX about this matter, and after going back and forth on the issue and sending photos of the mattress, along with the boxsprings and bed frame that we used, they determined that it had to be the insufficient support that we had for our new mattress. I also wanted to mention that we had both been experiencing some back pain after a month and a half of use, and couldn't understand why, since the initial first few weeks of use had been some of the most comfortable nights of sleep we've had in a long time! Anyways, all this to say, they granted us a return or an exchange, and suggested we try out the Essential Two-Sided Mattress instead (if we wanted to exchange instead), because it was made with less of the plusher foam material (which could have been contributing to our back pain). Though a little nervous to make the switch, we decided to pull the trigger and trust their recommendation. I just want to say I'm SO glad we took their advice, because we knew we didn't want to opt for a return, we wanted to stick with DLX for our mattress needs. They've been so helpful through this whole process, they also suggested some trusted bedframe suggestions, besides their own, they are truly wonderful and not at all a self-serving company like most others, they really do care and strive to make sure that your comfort comes first!! I'm a believer and I hope you will be too. I also wanted to mention that if you tend to like firmer mattresses, the Essential is the way to go! Between the Classic and Essential, I would absolutely choose the Essential every time (though the Classic is very comfortable). We were extremely impressed with DLX. This a first-rate, family-run company with excellent customer service. We needed matresses quickly because of an unexpected renovation project requiring us to move into our basement. It was a holiday weekend. One of the owners immediately responded by email and we later spoke on the phone. I was impressed by their honesty and decency and immediately trusted them. No other mattress company could get us what we needed so quickly. The mattresses and box springs arrived within a few days and are comfortable and well-made. DLX makes their mattresses right here in the U. S. They are competitively priced (if not slightly cheaper) than a lot of imported mattresses that take weeks, sometimes months, to arrive. Everyone should support this company -- bravo on a job well done!

So far, so good! The foam top layer is to replace a latex layer: I thought I was fully 'team latex' after sleeping on a latex hybrid mattress, but I could never get comfortable enough to get more than 2 hours of continuous sleep, so I have great hopes for this foam "comfort layer" (medium firm). I have had it two weeks and I can already see improvement - I no longer feel like I need to get out of bed at 3 am and I don't seem to toss and turn as much. This could be because I have had foam mattresses most of my life, and while I did like latex, it takes getting used to. I love, love, love that this option was available from DLX! It took me 3 different mattresses, from 2 companies to find them, but if I get some decent sleep, it was worth the journey.

Amazing customer service! DLX was incredibly helpful when we were stuck making a decision. Ultimately, they helped us get the soft topper (started with medium) which is perfect for us side sleepers. We typically like a medium-firm mattress and were surprised how much we love the soft DLX but we sure do! Will absolutely be buying more DLX mattresses when new ones are needed in other bedrooms.

I regret my purchase. The mattress is much firmer than anticipated and I’m unable to sleep on my side without pain, despite adding a 3in soft latex topper (for reference I’m 5. 8” tall & 140lbs). The mattress I initially received was found to be defective after about a month. They were helpful and sent me a new one, but I should’ve opted for a refund instead, because as a result I didn’t actually get a fair 120-day trial with the replacement to assess whether the mattress was a good fit for me overall. Turns out it’s not, but now I’m stuck with it. It’s acceptable for back sleeping, but I’m still searching for a solution to make it more comfortable in general. It’s been frustrating to have to keep experimenting and spending additional money on toppers etc when I thought the new mattress itself would provide me better sleep. Unfortunately, my nights of dreading getting into bed have not yet come to an end.

This is the second set of medium twin XL mattresses I have bought for my girls' homes. They love a plush feel but good support. They use with a 3" 4lb. memory foam topper bought from another vendor. This is the perfect mattress for them.

DLX as a company was great, they shipped it quickly, alerted me on expected delivery and have followed up to determine my level of satisfaction. Their site is quite informative and my expectations were met by their mattress. I would certainly buy from them again and really appreciate the opportunity to keep my funds in the hands of an American company, with American citizen workers.

The quality of the mattress is very well made. We ordered Firm because of my wife's back pain (back sleeper) but I was worried about being too firm since I am a side sleeper. Surprisingly, it was very comfortable. No pain in pressure points. My wife wishes DLX mattress makes Xtra Firm. Love the fact that it's flippable. It's so hard to find that now a day. The only suggestion I would have is to offer "White Glove delivery" for single or older people because it is quite heavy to handle it by yourself.
