The grill grates needs to be replaced frequently because they starts to peal and the tephlon (or whatever the surface is made from) gets in the food. It would be great if the grates were made from a more durable coating.

Very happy with my purchase

After researching electric grills able to hold up to ocean winds and salt blowing onto our oceanside balcony, came across the Kenyon Frontier Series C70090 Cart Package. Our weber heating element kept corroding in salt air. Only 100 yrds from the water. Delivery and purchase was excellent. Updates provided and calls made for delivery. Assembly was easy and a straightforward setup. Only had the grill a couple of weeks but heat up time is quick as advertised. Grill looks surgical ready. All the stainless came protected. No blemishes, scratches or defects. Grilling meats (w beautiful grill marks) and veggies come out better than our previous grill. I’m hoping this grill with its sealed elements will stand the test of time in this environment. Also got the cover. My only complaint would be that they forgot to include the sample bottle of stainless steel cleaner advertised. Not a big deal though since I can’t stop raving about the grill and cart!

The Coated Drip Tray get manufacturing damaged !!! The package arrived in perfect condition, so the damage was not caused during shipping. The damage is obvious… so there is no way this could have gone unnoticed. Therefore, someone at KENYON deliberately shipped a damaged item ! 3 complains on you website : no answer from you ??? Unacceptbale

Great grill. While the electric cooks my meat to perfection the added water steams it so it is so tender. In my second house I have a traditional propane grill but nothing turns out nearly as good as my electric Kenyon. I love Kenyon!!

We have had Kenyon grills on multiple boats. They work extremely well, and are very easy to maintain and keep clean.

The griddle was perfect. Best batch of pancakes I have ever cooked. And it n a boat, no less. My family says thanks.

This is the 5th grate I have had to buy because the Teflon coating keeps disappearing even thought I only use soap and water. Seems grease/fat at high heat simply burns it .

I am an engineer and look at all electrical / mechanical items critically. I have a new Kenyon grill on a boat. Overall the system works very well. The heat balance across the surface is good. The controls work well and seem accurate. But there is one thing that I found very annoying. They sell the grill with a disposable aluminum drip pan. The instructions call for adding some water to the bottom of the pan before cooking. OK - makes sense and this is not really too much trouble, But the disposable pans get pinholes after a single use. So I inquired with Kenyon and they offer an upgraded pan for $100 - really? This is nonsense. Cooking with the disposable pans is not sustainable - water drips everywhere after first use. OK - so I broke down and bought the accessory pan but every time I cook, I am reminded about the cheap aluminum pans and having to spend money to bring the system up to an acceptable level. If you are buying a Kenyon grill, be sure to budget for the required accessory drip pan.
