Radio was ez to install and works perfectly! I i just wish I had done it sooner!

Paid for next day didn't show up on time. Box was beat up. Radio was faulty out the box. Expensive but also paid extra to get it faster which did t happen and it doesn't even work. Absolutely trash. Would give - stars if I could.

The new radio was easy to install. front speakers worked out well. Did not do kick panels speakers yet. Did buy another front speaker made a different base for them to mount so I could place It in the standard 6x9 hole of my 63 SS. Sound good

Won't work with the 996 Bose type amp. While the plugs fit, you have to do some serious re-wiring, and possibly change out the amp (which is what I had to do). Had to order new amp and wire it in, took about 2 days once I found a decent wiring diagram. The radio technically "works", just not with a "MOST" type 996.

Have had mine in car for about 1 year, maybe more and now can't even listen to the radio---everytime I choose a station it plays maybe 3--4 seconds and then starts searching. Tuning manually or chooseing any of the presets it does the same thing. Don't waste ypour money
