We’ve had the cover for a couple weeks now. It protects well and the fit is great! We just had a big wind storm blow through here two days ago and the cover stayed put. Thanks CarCovers!!

Fits perfectly

The cover being made to fit a range of trucks with camper shells allows for a slight differentiation to the slop of the front windshield. This causes the cover to not fit completely snug at the windshield. This only effects the presentation, not the functionality. So far, this is a great cover and fits my front brush guard / winch completely.

I’m happy with the purchase. The rear mounted ladder spoils the fit and causes some tight spots I’m concerned about. I wish I could have had the option for a ladder pocket or cutout. Any suggestions?

The specs stated the Platinum cover will fit my 2012 Tacoma dual cab, short bed, with a shell. IT DOES! The corners snug the truck nicely on all corners preventing the cover from slipping off easily during winds. The fit is not as snug as I though it would be but it tapers enough in the right areas to give it a shape of a fit. The cloth lining is easy on the paint when you are rolling it off/on and the silver reflection keeps it from baking. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and the price was very reasonable.
