I am shocked that a small family business would sell such a cheaply made lamp. The wire lasted about ten uses before it became temperamental and didn’t work anymore. I am also shocked that they know it’s a cheaply made product because they have a cookie cutter response about how they do repairs.Obviously used many times before. I am not the first person to have this problem. But most shocking of all is that when they say your business means the world to them, they don’t mean it. They mean we take your money and give you bad quality and if it’s just outside the window of one year, too bad we don’t care. If it was a well built product this never would have happened. I feel duped. I bought from a family thinking I was doing something good and they cheated me. When I looked into their other reviews I see the same thing. People feeling duped and upset. Go to Amazon to buy this same lamp. Save yourself the aggravation.

Was updated frequently on shipment and package arrival! Regarding the lamp itself: whether plugged into a computer USB or the wall adapter, the lamp produces a high-pitched sound. It goes away if the lamp is at the highest or lowest setting. So it seems like maybe it's not a dimmable compatible light.

I was given the white canvas lamp. What a gift! It's my first foray into filming my painting, and I've been overall so grateful to have this. It's attractively designed, sturdy, and came with useful accessories (the magnetic phone mount is better than the clamp mount in every way!!). I pretty much always use neutral balance light. I've been happy to film with this stand in most cases. The downsides I've found with the lamp are that the cord is frustratingly short, and the lamp base swings around with no way to secure it when I clamp the lamp to my angle-adjustable painting table. That's an issue for me, as it's a major part of my setup. I'll keep using this high quality lamp, but I'm still on the lookout for a better filming setup for myself.

It took almost a month before a shipping service received it that along with all the scratches and dents on it it's just cheaply made I thought I was buying a high quality product and it was actually worse than some $30 ring lights I have bought the heat from the lamp is absolutely unbearable
