Expensive replacement parts.

I was experiencing an issue with the cooking temperature. Surprised in the sense that my Camp Chef pellet grill is a little more than two years old and already experiencing a problem. I called customer service, discussed the issues, and ultimately the conclusion was the internal thermometer was bad. Ordered the thermometer, replaced it and now my grill is back to normal. Other than this issue, I absolutely love the Camp Chef pellet grill, the WiFi connectivity to my phone, and the great smoked meats that it produces.

Customer service is responsive but I believe they should be able to rush deliver missing pieces, especially if they are smaller in size and weight.

The grill will not maintain a temperature 30° too high or 30° too low it fluctuates nobody will get back to me. I have emailed and texted over and over and over. I’m getting sick and tired of it. I’m about ready to ask for my money back.

Knob I got didn't fit and you were sold out of the brass fittings. I needed a wind screen but they were way over priced for what they are. Not impressed with your replacement parts selection, fitting or pricing

I had high hopes for this XXL WIFI smoker. It seemed like exactly what I needed. The box arrived with no obvious damage. While unboxing, I noticed a small dent on the front plate & part of the front plate side walls were bent as well. I wasn’t thrilled, but I was able to correct those issues to an unnoticeable state & I gladly proceeded on with a positive attitude, still excited about my new investment. As I lifted the main body out of the box, I noticed a large dent on the top of the smoker, almost all of the way from front to back. I’m really not happy now, but I want to overlook it & keep moving forward. My wife saw the smoker & immediately noticed the dent, & wasn’t as forgiving as I was being. Next up, I grab the hopper/auger/pellet burn cup assembly & yet again, I notice a dent on top of the pellet burn cup. I can tell that this dent/bend is not going to affect the performance of the unit, so again, I press on. Attaching the hopper assembly to the main body proved to be a challenge. And yes, I do have somewhat of a brain, but I have never struggled assembling anything in my life as much as I did with this hopper. It’s like either the hopper or the auger portion of the hopper assembly or the main body isn’t square even though I don’t see any obvious deformation. Once I finally got the hopper attached I then noticed that the ash dump release lever is now wedged by the auger/pellet burn cup. I removed & reattached the hopper several times but still ended up with the same result. I called in to tech support & was told to beat the ash dump lever with a rubber mallet, which I did to no avail. I am now going to have to yet again reach back out to tech support & see what’s next I didn’t pay $1600 to have all of these dents, nonfunctional equipment, & brand new parts that require beating with a hammer. Hopefully Camp Chef will correct my issue & get me the defect free smoker that I paid for & am so looking forward to using. I will gladly update the revi...
