Installed this on my 2025 4Runner Off-Road Premium and I’m very impressed. The brackets fit perfectly, install was straightforward, and everything feels solid and well-made. The lights are extremely bright and provide excellent side illumination on dark roads and trails. Low-profile design looks great and doesn’t affect hood operation. Highly recommend this kit if you’re looking to add ditch lights to your 4Runner.

The product is really well made and easy to install. Well worth the money spent and for my use, I find it hard to justify spending more for similar products on the market.

Everything functioned as designed and looks good the kit is definitely the way to go.

Overall, I love the concept of this product and it works great in my 2025 Tacoma but only after significant tweaks that required a machine shop. THE GOOD: once it’s mounted, this product is clearly superior to all the silly alternatives like the suction cup mounts or the mounts that need to be forced in your cabin air vents. My Cali Raised dash mount and the accompanying ball and socket phone holder have stayed sturdy on awful BLM and Forest Service roads. I can also mount/use multiple devices simultaneously which is a plus. THE BAD: it could have just been the individual mount I received, but it seems this product requires significant after market machining to fully and successfully install in a 2025 Tacoma. I just happened to be at a relative’s house that had a full machine shop in the garage when it was time to install. The first problem came when attempting to sink the provided screws in Toyota’s existing hardware in the dash. The angle of Toyota’s hardware wasn’t a great match with the Cali Raised mount and resulted in cross threading. So, I managed to use a grinder to oblong the mounting holes on the Cali Raised Mount to allow the screws to match Toyota’s attaching points. But then I ran into the problem of the cross threading from the original install attempt creating burrs that stopped the included screws from sinking and attaching the mount fully. This required using a tap to break down the burrs before finally getting the install finished. If you are going to do this at home and don’t have a grinder or a tap, you may only get as far alas partially sinking 1-2 of the included screws. Despite this, I would still purchase another product from the company and I’d still recommend this product even if it takes a little extra work to get it installed.
