Instead of paying $7 a month to “rent” a box , paid $168. I plan to use the internet for more than 2 years, so the modem will start making me money in 2 years! Also It works like a charm, a lucky charm, bring me smooth internet.

I love this router, it covers my 3K+ square foot house alone. I have 2 other routers in which I separate my household (selfish reasons), but it is stronger than my other 2 on WiFi6. I'm at the OTHER end of the house upstairs lol. Best buy I can say for 2024!! You can't go wrong with this one in my opinion. Setup was easy (I'm a network engineer) so I'm sorry if it is troublesome for others. Wonderful product, I may stay with this line when Wifi 7 or 8 come out.

I never thought it was possible to purchase a 5G wireless router with a modem under $300. Specialized equipment always come with a heafty price tag and leasing a required piece of equipment for the "long term" makes no sense. DontLeaseYourModem fills a niche that is very unique. Watch out for your cable provider, Comunistcast throttles your speed. Modem works great, ISP needs to improve to reach tolerable.

Followed the included instructions, connected Ethernet to my router, tried to get online and it redirected to my cable company’s support. They activated the router, it rebooted a few times then back online. Back to 1gig internet without the modem rental fee

Very nice design and has all the functions I want. It"s speed is fast annd it is stable.

Works great for connected internet, but wireless drops in and out on wifi. Tried changing settings and moving unit around, but does same thing. I did improve my dsl speed over my old modem.

Product worked as it should, thank you. A note for configuring the device: not sure whether this was due to still using a landline, but I needed to set up the modem through the cable company (Optimum). This literally took hours. Not the fault of this vendor, but valuable to know if you are venturing into this to save money. What is your time worth? If not for being hellbent on not being dissuaded by Optimum dragging their feet, I would have concluded it wasn’t worth the hassle. Done now and looking forward to saving on stupid monthly fee.
