I am so pleased with your company. My modem/router was 5 years old and was in great need of being laid to rest since it was dropping the connection about every 3 to 5 minutes. We are getting fiber optics installed by a new company in our area within about 5 or 6 months, so I didn't want to spend too much money on a new modem/router for DSL. The price was perfect for our temporary need. The new modem/router came within two days of purchasing it. The note in the package was very, very helpful in getting the product setup regarding booting and resetting it. Since I don't have an ethernet port on my laptop, I was able to use the WiFi to get connected to the IP address. I was able to check the modem status and setup a new name for my network. The modem status now shows 'Good' instead of 'Poor' (which was what our old modem showed). Thank you so very much for your excellent service and product. I will recommend your company to anyone that I know who needs a modem/router. I will look into buying from your company again when the new company installs the fiber optic cable.

The modem itself is adequate -- as is any ISP-provided unit. The service from Buyyourownmodem. com, however, was excellent. The unit is like new and works as designed.

It took me many months to get up the courage to ditch the TDS rental modem and buy my own. I wish I'd done it years ago! Oh, the money I could have saved. The service from buyyourownmodem. com was super fast; I had the modem 2 days after ordering. I viewed a Youtube video for guidance in installing the modem which was very helpful, though one or two things could've been explained a bit more clearly.

I was in need of a modem to offset the "lease fee" from my provider. These guys came through with flying colors. Great product, in excellent shape and easy to set up. Say Goodbye to leasing your modem!

Works well right out of the box. . a bit pricey, and shipping was rather slow, will take 18 months to pay for itself. . . I should have done this long,long ago so my bad and if it last a long time then it was worth the higher price

This modem from Arris has great customer service who work on veterans day. My installation issue was solved with a hard reset and they talked me through the entire set up. Kudos Arris!

I was in a panic to find a modem I could afford - Brightspeed said because of my reduced price for home phone/internet, I would have to pay $200 for a modem to replace the one that crashed. My search brought me to Buy Your Own Modem.com and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The company has a strong message of kindness on their site, and most importantly, their employees are dedicated to that kindness. I've seen customer service just tank over the last few years, but that certainly isn't the case here. They helped me choose a modem that fit with my needs, shipping was lightning fast and support was SO helpful! I had a bit of a struggle getting the modem hooked up, and while it was my own oversight causing the struggle, everyone I contacted was extremely patient and friendly. Once I got the modem connected (it was stupidly easy to do), it worked better than I expected, and for a fourth of the price from Brightspeed! Instead of paying $7 a month to “rent” a box , paid $168. I plan to use the internet for more than 2 years, so the modem will start making me money in 2 years! Also It works like a charm, a lucky charm, bring me smooth internet.

I love this router, it covers my 3K+ square foot house alone. I have 2 other routers in which I separate my household (selfish reasons), but it is stronger than my other 2 on WiFi6. I'm at the OTHER end of the house upstairs lol. Best buy I can say for 2024!! You can't go wrong with this one in my opinion. Setup was easy (I'm a network engineer) so I'm sorry if it is troublesome for others. Wonderful product, I may stay with this line when Wifi 7 or 8 come out.
