I wish I loved Viome. This is the second time I’ve tested with Viome in two years. My complaint is that the data is difficult to work with. I’ve spent two days trying to organize the data into a workable spreadsheet, using AI, online chats, Viome website. I may be missing something, but for this reason, I’ll have to go with another company for my testing next year. This is maddening

The tests are easy to do at home and the results are fast.

After reviewing the results, the foods to avoid, enjoy, minimize, and superfoods were very concerning to me. Having been on this planet & in this body for the last 75 years, I have had many health-related problems. The foods to eliminate/avoid from my diet, though not shocking, is proving difficult to maintain. I am not on this planet alone. My partner of 50 years is also in this journey with me. So, I do this Viome journey alone, and with daily difficulty. I know Rome wasn't built in a day. My health will not just show up in one day. I am now living day by day with the foods I can eat, the supplements I can take, and daily reminding myself it will get better. I am not sad, just changed. My Viome journey has just begun.

For the amount of money I have paid, I did get a very detailed response, but I have used the chat feature more than once and I am still waiting for answers based on the questions I have posed. since I see an ND and I was already taking certain supplements and medications, would be really great to know if I should continue the past supplements or only take the new ones. How do I know if my body is properly absorbing all of these pills?

Ok, but will not let me Cancel! I have wasted time while I am busy at work and every time you hit" cancel damn subscription" they play games. Cancel my fucking order!!!!!!!!

For me was just a marketing trap! Not impressed! No value for the money! Just generic info and a lot of marketing! Their interest is just to make money by selling supplements, subscriptions or they want you to re-test….

I did all the tests and the outcome ia that I should take their supplements which they don't sell outside of the US! They could have said it earlier (or not sell the test outside of the US)

This whole experience has left me wondering where healthcare is going, and understanding why there is so much suspicion of modern medicine. My girlfriend and I both ordered tests: she’s been having poor gut health and inflammation for years. I was going along out of curiosity, since other than being overweight I haven’t had many health issues. I was already suspicious of Viome’s intentions when, even before we received our testing kits in the mail, I was bombarded by junk emails trying to upsell me on supplements. The test taking itself was rather unpleasant. Ideally it would have had more instructions to make the blood sample taking less messy, as I poked a rather ripe part of my finger and bled way more than I should have. Another huge red flag was when the app proudly announced my results were being “processed by AI” as if this was a premium service to boast about. This to me only reeks of bandwagoning on a recent trend under the guise of cutting costs. Indeed, the results were so unfocused and nonsensical, I might as well have asked a fortune teller. Instead of a nice summary telling me the major foods to avoid or focus on eating, it just dumps everything on you. Instead of summarizing potential health issues into easy action items, it tells me to address my “homocysteine pathways” And the results truly made no sense. Telling me I should avoid cow’s milk but enjoy heavy cream? Telling me my biological age is low but my cellular senescence is high? Is anyone fact checking this? The results were so off, my girlfriend and I think our tests were swapped. Because to Viome, my gut health and inflammation is atrocious compared to hers… while that’s something she’s been in and out of the hospital for her whole life. And meanwhile she has a higher risk of heart disease and cholesterol even though I’m the one who is overweight and has a family history of that? I will give credit to the otherwise slick design and videos. But that’s only going to take a mediocre ide...

DON'T BUY THIS!! I bought the full test and spent almost $300. I took the tests on May 19th and sent them to them, and to this day I haven't received any results!! There's no chat service, I've sent emails and messages, and no one has gotten back to me!! What a scam!

I have been following the nutrition recommendations for 4 weeks now and still am not seeing any improvements unfortunately. I have not purchased the supplements recommended, however, but I also do not have the money for them each month. My hope was that the suggested changes in food would create positive changes, but they have not.

No noticeable difference, except the gut health mix does make me more consistent. Very annoying that they do not provide your test results to compare with my full blood panel. That makes the test nearly useless. I am very suspect on what they can find out based on the few drops of blood provided. When I get blood tests, I have many vials taken. Taking the blood is a pita and not pleasant with the Viome finger prick. I'd prefer a mobile lab pickup a sample. I wouldn't want to retake the test because of these two issues. Their summary results are basically: trust us, we say so. They don't tell you something concrete that you can act on or discuss with your doctor: e. g. "cortisol is high, therefore. . . " To me, it's all a ruse to get you to be on their far-overpriced supplement plan. They ship the supplements, including probiotics, in standard snail mail that sits in your mailbox at high heat. They don't seem to understand how supplements work and that probiotics require refrigeration. Only poor-quality probiotics are not refrigerated. Either way, every quality probiotic I've ordered was on ice. Viome doesn't get it. For some reason, their shipping timing is uneven. I just started my one-month supply, and for some reason, got another month's supply. Their recommendations are rather ridiculous. They tell me to stop eating everything I currently eat. Are they biasing their results on the basis of my recent diet? It seems so. Also, many of these have tremendous health benefits, even if they do add some gas to my system. They need better recommendations. The list of "eat more of" foods are obscure vegetables and spices I never cook with. The list of allowed foods is too difficult to bother with. They list every food and spice in a single, lengthy list, making it difficult to read. At least put it in a reference table or organize it by type of food: carbs, spices, poultry, seafood, vegetables, starches. . . . etc. Their web UI is poorly thought out and annoying...

I had a horrible reaction to the vitamins and supplement. I took on day one. Six hours after taking it, I started itching. 14 hours after I had a headache and started vomiting. Was totally incapacitated and on the floor with a headache vomiting could not hold down water until I was given prescription anti-nausea medication. I took the supplement following directions with food and water. Was finally better after just got out of my system. I had an allergic reaction to something in it. No no allergies to any of the ingredients. Threw away all of the other vitamins and supplement, but was never offered a refund.

I have now done two tests, but the results on what I should be eating/avoiding are completely different. Would love to be able to talk to someone as a part of the tests I ordered as I am pretty confused what to eat now.

Terrible costumer experience. My resulys have been delayed twice and it is impossible to contact anyone to understand what is happening

I feel viome spends maximum money on Advertising and boxing the product. Overall test cost is $299. My suggestion please spend less on unwanted and spend the left over in speed post. The collection from cali bay area to Seattle the parcel takes around 10 almost

I dislike wasting money & wasting time waiting for much needed results I never received. What I did get, and continue to get daily are sales pitches for Viome’s products. I need my specific raw data to make any health decisions. The info. I received included discrepancies regarding which foods to AVOID & ENJOY. I don’t believe the report was created based on my individual test results, but a standard boilerplate USELESS document meant to encourage me to buy their remedy products. I am sorry I wasted so much money and time on this test! Customer service was not at all helpful! Just AI BOTS with more boilerplate responses.

I was sick to my stomach for 14 months. Went to 4 different GI doctors. Had colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and so many tests. No one found anything to fix and after trying everything and anything they suggested I tried VIOME. I am healthy. I got my life back and I don’t think about my stomach any more. I highly recommend everyone trying it. Thank you!

I’m thankful for taking my health into my hands. I was not expecting my results. I need to do a 360 life change with food. I will definitely take my results and change my ways.

I have been using Viome over the past three or four years. It is the absolute best way for me to track my improved well-being. Thanks to everyone on the team for the great work they’re doing.
