What a difference in throttle response! Bye bye mushy pedal. After installing this in my 2021 Cherokee 3. 2L it feels like a completely different vehicle. No more delay when passing at highway speeds, and suburban roads are now a pleasure to drive. Also gone is the gear hunting in my 9 speed transmission. The hardest part of the install was laying on my back and getting under the dash, everything connected as shown in the instructions and the app setup was smooth. Highly recommend!

Received and installed my MONSTER RAM on my 2023 RAM 2500. Everything went well after connecting the IAT connector (OOPS). The only real problem was one (1) of the 1/8 pipe plugs had NO threads, not possible to use it. Fortunately I had one in my junk drawer. Quality Assurance people take note.

I originally called Banks because I had a few questions about the iDash gauge and wanted a way to monitor my exhaust gas temperatures and coolant temperatures. During the conversation, the Banks representative asked if I had replaced my grid heater yet. I thought that was an odd question, so I told him no. He then asked if I had heard about the grid heater bolt failure issue. Again, I said no. What impressed me was that he didn't immediately try to sell me anything. He explained that Banks offers the Monster-Ram Intake and Grid Heater Upgrade, but encouraged me to do my own research first. He even pointed out that other companies offer similar solutions and said that, regardless of whose product I chose, addressing the grid heater issue should be my top priority before spending money elsewhere on the truck. To be honest, I thought it was a strange sales approach, especially since I was already planning to buy the iDash. But I took his advice and started researching. Sure enough, the grid heater bolt failure issue is very real. I called my diesel mechanic, and he told me to stop by the shop. When I got there, he had three failed grid heaters sitting on his workbench that he'd replaced over the previous few months. Seeing them in person made it obvious that this is a legitimate concern. You can clearly see where RAM cut some corners in the design and how failures can occur. After that, I ordered the Banks Monster-Ram Intake and Grid Heater Upgrade. It turned out to be perfect timing. When we removed my factory grid heater, it was already about halfway melted. It honestly could have been a matter of days before it failed completely and potentially destroyed a cylinder—or even the entire engine. Huge credit to the Banks employee who took the time to educate me instead of just making a sale. You literally saved me from what could have been a catastrophic engine failure. We installed these Banks products on our '07 K3500 Classic Duramax: upgraded intercooler, hot side tubing, air intake, free flow exhaust, and rear differential cover. The packaging sufficiently protected the products, the instructions were clear, and the products installed without any issues.

Ordering, shipping went fine. Physical installation went fine. Service rep helped me with pairing the iDash with my 2022 Ford F-150. Rep was friendly, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Rep was also helpful in walking through the steps for programming the iDash to display the engine/transmission parameters I wanted. The iDash has been a super addition to the “Dummy Gauges” provided by Ford on my truck. One great example of a benefit of having the iDash is as follows; Over the four years that I’ve owned my truck the “Low Engine Oil Pressure” alarm has gone off periodically on a completely random basis. During the most recent low engine oil pressure alarm incident I immediately referred to my new iDash and confirmed that, in fact, the engine oil pressure was GOOD. This was a great relief to me that my engine wasn’t being damaged due to an actual low engine oil pressure incident. I have since replaced the Engine Oil Pressure Sending Unit/Pressure Switch and am now waiting to see if the Low Engine Oil Pressure alarm goes off again. I have been very happy with my Banks iDash Pro Standalone. I want Banks to offer an “Advanced Cooling Cover” for the 9. 75” rear, electronic locking differential for my 2022 Ford F-150 2WD Super Crew King Ranch pickup that is equipped with a 3. 5L EcoBoost engine and the factory heavy duty towing package.

I bought the Derringer with IDash Pro/Pedal Monster for my 2025 Duramax, and it AWOKE A SLEEPING GIANT! I had no idea what a difference it would make. Actually, I was a little apprehensive about buying the kit because I previously installed a competitor's tuner that made no difference in performance but was good at throwing up transmission codes like a basketball player at the free-throw line. I did not install the stealth pod on my pillar because I feel that there is already enough blind-spots on this truck. Therefore, I was going to install the IDash as a surface mount on the flat surface between the steering column and the climate panel. However, I ended up just tucking it up under the dash and using my iPhone with the Banks app as the controller.
