I installed my D1 12 years ago and recent power outages and subsequent surges damaged the unit. I called the Help Desk and explained what happened and was provided a discount for my next purchase. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a replacement for my system which consists of a MacBook “sever” routed through an Apple TV device connected via TOSLINK to a basic preamplifier feeding three amps, subwoofer, main, and remote for four sets of speakers located throughout my home, indoor and outdoor. Sound is detailed and even the subtlest nuances of the music is wonderfully experienced. It’s amazing such a simple and inexpensive device can transform your system. Couldn’t be more happy with this device

Audioengines is a good company to work with. I bought my speakers directly from Audioengines. Just two weeks later, Crutchfield had a sale on the same speakers. Audioengines credited back the price difference.

There was something wrong with the board on my HD3 speakers, and the team worked with me to diagnose the issue and provide a replacement part. It was great to be able to do the swap myself and not have to send the full speakers back and forth. The new board was easy to install and has worked perfectly. Pares well with the HD3 providing the low frequency sounds to let the HD3s truly shine where they need to. Set-up was a breeze and the hardware is quality with an aesthetic that blends nicely with its surroundings to not standout. Settings flex to subtly blend the low frequency with the music, but if desired can be turned up to 11 to get the obnoxious thump.

The hd4 with s8 for a medium room is great for all purpose. I use them for gaming and just casually listing to music and they’re amazing

After returning speakers from other highly rated brands, I ordered Audioengine HD3 speakers. They were immediately recognized by my Mac Studio and I had a choice of connection preferences. These speakers provide excellent quality for their eyes. I subsequently ordered the bass speaker. Customer support excellent.
