Anova cleverly hid this information in the advertising and basically forces you to buy a subscription to make a smart oven actually smarter than ovens built 100 years ago. Honestly, I feel cheated and I can’t trust Anova anymore. I will never again buy one of their products.

We ordered supplies and these guys sent it to California rather than the address on the order. Sent 3 emails and called. No one will fix their mistake. They took my money and sent nothing- that’s stealing.

Received it just a few days after ordering and was kept updated on delivery through the process.

I was so excited to receive this. However after unboxing it, it would not work and just showed an E2 error. Customer service is non existent. After no reply for a week, I submitted for a warranty claim. 11 days later, I finally got a response that they couldn't find my claim. Fingers crossed that they can get this rectified, but I have little hope. I would be happy to change my rating if I ever get a response.

I’ve only owned regular vacuum sealers such as Weston. I usually bought one every year because they just don’t last. Even tried different brands with no luck. After much reviews about Anova, I decided to give a try since it was a good price. I was totally blown away by how great it works. Never owned anything that vacuum sealed this good. I wasn’t sure about its size but it fits us great

The urgent need for a "languages" option in the community and app is fundamental.

Anova’s recent subscription model is a betrayal to its loyal customers. As an early adopter who bought an original sous vide stick in 2016, I’m appalled by their lack of respect. After a health hiatus, I wanted to return to my Anova, but I had to register an account before 2024 to use it. This is a cash grab that penalises early supporters. They can’t even find my original order, which I suspect they lost. Anova’s customer service is disgraceful, and their approach is money-grabbing. I’m furious with this company! They’ve said that my early support doesn’t matter because I didn’t know about the subscription model. So much for their marketing saying they value early customers!

I have the Anova Precision 3 which i purchased a few years ago. it has been amazing and worked really well with the app which easily controled the Anova remotely which had the menu resources available as part of the initial purchase. This has changed the way i cooked and i have recommended this to many of my friends. Unfortunately, Anova has moved to a subscription service for the menu. I did not wish to pay an annual subscription for something which was included in my initial purchase. After this the app has very poor connectivity for remote connectivity. I was forced to resign into the app which upgraded, after this have i not only lost access to the menus, the annova does not connect well at all and i have had to revert to using the button control. i think this is either an oversight in upgrading the software which they are not concerned about or simply they are only going to offer support to people who initially purchased with this as an included service.

Honestly, with all the hype, I'm a little disappointed. I'm a Chef and have used vacuum sealers, both chamber and external for years. I own 3 chamber sealers and the Anova was my RV/hunting purchase due to the size. First thing I noticed is that the Anova logo was peeling on the top of the machine( might not sound like much but it intermediately sent alarms about the quality to me). Then I noticed the hinge seemed loose, that didn't seem to affect the machine so I assumed it was by design. Next, because it's my nature, I set it up as closely as I could to compete against my other sealers. Same weigh,same product,(chicken thighs) and sealed them with the same vacuum and seal time. All the sealers were 95Kpa vacuum. The Anova was middle of the pack or tied for last. Even using the Anova bags and continuing the experiment dozens of times, I noticed air bubbles in the bags time and time again, some large enough to cause my sous vide bag to float while my other sealers bags submerged easily. Not a bad sealer but say 3. 5 stars. Changing the vacuum and seal time helped a little bit but even at max vac on strong and max seal it was negligible.

I contacted support and they never answered my questions directly. They just told me the oven is making fan noise and it's fine. And this is after the oven is not running anymore, the fan is making 57 dB of noise
