I purchased precision oven 1. 0 2+ years ago and now had problem with overheating. I was told the unit is no longer under warrant and it's a trash now. No repair suggested. Buyers beware. This is a disposable oven. When it worked it was good oven. But overheating seems to be a software issue because all the display are showing the right numbers but the software just doesn't honor the set temperature and keeps heating until it shuts down due to excessive heat. Hopefully this is not a time bomb feature that software engineer often is told to put in to render unit unusable even everything else is working fine.
For a couple of people, it is pretty good. if you cook in batches, get the larger bath. in terms of quality, it is quite good.
I used my Anova much more before they changed the app. It had basic instructions. It was great. I could spice up my meat the way I wanted. Now it tells you how to cook one way, not a variety of temperatures and times depending on what meat you have. You have to cook it their way to get results. I haven't used my Anova in more than a year and it sits in the back of my cabinet. I don't like Anova because they want you to pay for recipes they made, not how to to the basics so you can do it your way.

On the 8 Nov 2022 we purchased an Anova oven for a cost of $891. 00 Australian, it developed a fault and was returned on 7 Oct 2025 With the promise of a replacement would be sent to us. It is now the 18 March 2026 almost 6 months have passed i have requested a refund on many occasions which has been refused. I am not at all happy and the $891. 00 is now worth $926. 00 after interest has been applied will Anovo pay me the interest i have missed out on??? Also i have requested to be upgraded to the Anova oven 2 the request has been denied as Anova do not have a scheme in place to allow this, in other words it is too hard. I have been told on many occasions that my case has been upgraded to a higher authority, but i have only ever had emails from Angel Nicole Alday. This company is full of promises and no action, the worst customer support i have ever encountered

Hi my name Geoff Kent i live in Australia, i purchased an Anova oven on 8Nov2022 it developed a fault and was returned on 7/10/2025 with the promise of a replacement oven would be sent to me 5 months have passed and still no replacement oven has arrived. i have on numerous occasions requested a refund which has been refused by Angel Nicole Alday your so called Customer Success Associate. My request No is 1001518 and many others, your actions not to resolve this warranty matter in a reasonable time frame has breached the Consumer Laws in Australia I would like to draw your attention to ***www.accc.gov*** I have logged a complaint with the ACCC and also the South Australian Government Department of Consumer affairs. I have exchanged many emails with Angel Nicole Alday to which the usual reply is 'I completely understand your frustration regarding the delay in receiving your replacement oven. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused. " i am extremely frustrated by your company's lack of customer support and compassion, i purchased your oven as i am 74 years old and have difficulty bending as i had to do with my existing oven, also you still have the money i paid for the oven and i have only hollow promises from your company.
Very disappointing Warranty On the 8Nov2025 we purchased an Anova 1 oven it developed a fault Anova said we will replace it so on the 7Sep2025 i sent it back expecting a replacement oven in a week or perhaps 2 weeks. It is now 12 march 2026 some 5 months later and we still do not have a replacement oven and despite many emails no due date for the oven to arrive in stock in Australia, i have also requested a refund on numerous occasions and have been told it is out of the 100 day refund period so no refund can be issued. If you are considering a purchase from this company think again and look for a similar product from another company, the worst customer service i have ever experienced. An unhappy customer in Australia.
Good product, but when ever there is a wifi problem in the house while functioning the machine goes off and all of my food goes awey.
