Missed my son’s birthday

This was my first time ordering anything from Japan. I was a little afraid but it went well. Tho, it really comes down to people on the other side. Yes, there is the shipping cost and yes there are the potential customs you have to deal with but that one is the responsibility of the buyer. Not once I had the need to contact them what is happening to my order. Items were shipped in a week, got the tracking number, then email from Animota and got all the info I needed from the tracking link provided in that email. Even after the package arrived to customs in my country, that link still provided me with info about what was happening to my order there. Then one day I got the text that package is gonna be delivered today. Paid the additional cost and got the order. (You are reminded basically in every email about the potential customs that may apply in your country, and those is different from country to country, it is not universal. It's not a hidden cost and almost certainly not a scam) Everything was packaged in a way that the only thing that could damage the figures would be someone opening it to mess with them that way, so very good. Whole thing from the order to delivery took 23-24 days also counting weekends, so can't complain about that at all. I still prefer to order from Europe if possible because I can't be bothered dealing with customs but, if there is something that I can't find in here again, this shop is gonna be my first place to look for it. First time ordering from animota, bought an item as a bday gift for my niece. Once notified of shipment, it took 2 days to deliver to USA. That was standard shipping. Oh, and my niece was very happy.

Animota responded promptly to my email and site enquiry submission. I appreciate the separation of their stock between brand new/unopened and second-hand. It allows easy browsing to ensure that you are getting the condition of product that you paid for. They package very safely with bubble wrap and additional padding inside the box. Prompt dispatch within a 1-2 week period. All products received were as advertised and unopened - even older stock. They answered my question about stock condition very fast when I was new to the website.
