I am only a few weeks into this curriculum but I am loving the phonics and reading program. I have tried other curriculums with my daughter who struggles to read. I can already see a difference.

It would be nice if I could shop directly from class wallet. Master Books does. I prefer Abeka, it would be nice not to have to try and come up with money upfront.

The last lady I talked to was very rude. I was returning my curriculums I bought for the video curriculums. Everyone I spoke to a couple days ago for the return process was awesome. After finding out I had to pay a $280 fee to return the books I called to ask if there was any way to get a shipping label or add videos. She said no. With my return there is no way. No solutions. Nothing. I’m not sure I want to even buy the video curriculums now that I had to waste almost $300 to send some books back.

excellent costumer service and overall buying experience

I had a very disappointing experience with Abeka's customer service. I accidentally placed a duplicate order for unopened curriculum and contacted customer service for help. After spending over an hour on chat with two different representatives (the first was very rude), the second representative specifically told me the 10% restocking fee would be waived because it was an honest mistake. I made sure to confirm that before ending the chat. When I later contacted them about my return, I was told they would still be keeping 10% of my refund. One representative even claimed they "wouldn't charge the fee" because they would "simply refund 90%," which is, of course, exactly the same thing. I wasn't asking them to ignore their policy for no reason. I was asking them to honor what their own customer service representative had told me. When I requested that my case be escalated to a supervisor, my request was ignored. Instead, I received another email explaining the return policy—a policy I had already acknowledged and understood. The products are unopened, and I'm already paying the return shipping costs, so I'm losing money regardless. I simply asked for a small amount of grace over a return that was only a few days outside the 30-day window, especially after being told the fee would be waived. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles them. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that Abeka values rigid policies over customer service, clear communication, and keeping promises made by its own representatives. I expected much better.

Best book for teaching reading

It was good, it would be really wonderful if I could purchase books directly using the class wallet for the ESA.

Our half day preschool has been using Abeka since 1992 and we will continue to do so for many years to come.

My only issue was some items were delivered a day or 2 later than expected.

Thank your for a well thought out curriculum. My children are thriving. My only suggestion is to make the teacher manuals and lesson plans available also in pdf. Other than that!! 5 stars

These folks offer incredible curriculum at a great price. Their textbooks are both beautiful and rigorous, but their scientific, spiral approach to learning makes learning easy. Their Master Video School program is innovative and brilliant. Our students learn from the best while our school is able to operate on a small budget.

So far I am very satisfied.

Abeka website is easy to navigate. I love that they give you a chance to look inside the books to see what the curriculum looks like. I like how you can choose either the grade or subject to select your curriculum. Everything is laid out great.

I love abeka however their website needs work. My husband is a web developer and could Identify the issue easily. Their load times just to add to cart are extremely long. Their search engine is not great and could use Refining with better filter options.

So happy to receive samples of textbooks!
