My son LOVE computes and he wishes it was for grade 5-12 so he could do it, as he's in grade 7

Love Abeka but , 1. Can you consider putting more electives such as French, Engenireeng, or Ai coarses? 2. Strings program is outdated. Besides this EXCELLENT.

I honestly do not know where to begin with this review because I have so much to say. When my son turned 4 years old, God put on my heart to homeschool him. I did not have a clue as to what I was doing, or even where to start, but I answered His call. Abeka is a Christ-centered curriculum and we knew that was what we wanted for our son. Abeka makes homeschooling easy by offering everything in one package or you can choose only the subjects you wish to teach your children. We always started the day with Bible and my son has a very strong faith because of that! He has just graduated high school and started college as a sophomore thanks to dual enrollment with PCC. I am so grateful that Dr. Arlin and Rebeka Horton answered God's call to start Abeka all those years ago so that parents like us would have the opportunity to give our children a Christian education. I am also thankful for Mrs. Angie Wagner who was ALWAYS there to answer any questions or concerns that I had. This is a very special young lady who is a fine example of Ecclesiastes 9:10! One more praise goes out to Dr. Amy Yohe, the principal of Abeka Academy. During the 2026 commencement, we had the pleasure of running into this hardworking principal everywhere we went. By the end of the week, we were on a hugging basis because she is just one of the most kind and caring people you will ever meet. I praise God for all of the staff that keeps Abeka Academy up and running! These people truly care about your child's education and salvation. We love Abeka!!!!!

I homeschooled my four sons from K-12 using A Beka materials. All four scored on the 90’s percentiles on Iowa basic skills test. Thank you, A Beka! Now a grandchild is being homeschooled so I got her the Handbook for Reading to give her a great start in reading! Also the mini-memory verse alphabet cards.

Sometimes have trouble finding items but otherwise good.

I love your curriculum, but it seems to be very confusing when purchasing the curriculum. There needs to be descriptions of parent led and accredited vs non accredited on materials. I had to figure it out by asking other homeschool parents, but even some aren’t sure.

I keep getting these “share your thoughts” emails. I keep filling them out. No one follows up with me, so it seems kind of pointless to send out these surveys.

It is my understanding that there are extension options that I am aware of. However, I have an idea that I believe would be both beneficial to payees and ABEKA alike. For those of us with children who have moved ahead a grade level mid school year that puts us in a difficult place for summer, even with the 12 months to complete each curriculum under the accredited option. With this, we either allow our children to work through the summer in order to keep up with a grading period due dates or we just allow them to get behind because we chose to enjoy summer and therefore have no choice but to pay for the extension option. However, I do believe I have a solution that could be beneficial as mentioned before. My child is enrolled in jiu-jitsu and there is an option to place our account on hold at a flat fee of $25 per month and resume regular payments ($135/mo) for practice at the agreed upon date. This gives us the flexibility that we need in order to travel or when emergencies come up and take president over the payment of jiu-jitsu. While, I appreciate this option I am not suggesting that school is something to place on hold for my child or any child. I only wish to make things more convenient for people who find themselves in the same position as us. I am grateful to ABEKA and all the resources that are available. The people work tirelessly to help us and are so kind every time I call. I hope this was helpful and that is something that will be taken under consideration.

abeka for me is amazing on the way they teach the kids. they explained everything, make fun games, and any ore. of course some things are difficult, Abeka makes it important and very useful for the future

We love the program and it suits our daughter very well. Only slight setback is that, since we do not live in the US, we need to incorporate our own "lessons" on certain things, like learning our country's national anthem, history, and getting to know our own currency, etc. Otherwise, great program and I love how quick and thorough they are with their responses to any questions we have.

I would like to express how truly grateful and satisfied we are with Abeka. It has been a wonderful experience for my daughter, not only because of the quality of the education and everything she has learned, but also because of the exceptional support we have received throughout the school year. I would also like to sincerely thank the entire Abeka team. Whenever we need guidance or assistance, we are always treated with kindness, respect, patience, and a genuine willingness to help. The customer service is consistently excellent, and that makes such a meaningful difference for us as a family.
