Another superb pan from Swiss Diamond ! I dumped all my other nonstick cookware about 10 years ago and have been using Swiss Diamond exclusively for nonstick ever since. This new CXD line is outstanding. It heats amazingly fast and evenly on our induction cooktop.

I purchased a complete set of the XD cookware specifically designed for induction ranges in 2020 based on the "lifetime" advertising claims. Once received, I used the large fry pan nearly every day. . it was my daily driver. I read all of the material that came with the pans and, as a result, never used them in high temp, never boiled water in them, very very carefully cleaned them, etc. After 2 years, the "diamond" coating began to deteriorate just like the older cheap "teflon" that we are all familiar with,, so I contacted CS and they sent a replacement, or credit. The coating on the new pan broke down in 2 years. Another replacement. Another breakdown in 2 years. And now the other less used pans are doing the same thing. When I contacted them regarding warranty replacement, I also inquired about the contents and eventual toxicity of the coating. There was no reply to this. The last warranty offered a credit, so I moved over to the stainless pans. I am at a point now that I a wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same breakdown of the coating, and whether you would be interested in a class action suit regarding the toxicity of the "lifetime" coating? Ultimately, I would be happy if they would simply replace the toxic coated pans with equal sized stainless, however, this is not inline with their warranty. For the above reasons, I am giving a one star review for the pans. I am so disappointed with the so called diamond coating, and am also concerned about what possible health issues may be related to the intake of the broken down coating. As well, they employ absolute false claims regarding the diamond coating and the warranty process is a total hassle. You have to find a box large enough to fit the pan, pay for the return, and literally ship the old pan back even after providing photos and proof of the deterioration of the coating. For a so-called Swiss manufactured product, this XD line a huge zero.

The pan is phenomenal, the non stick aspect works like a charm, cleaning it is easy as long as you take good care of it and cooking on it with an induction stove top vs my old pan on an electric coil top feels like going from a 2000’s Chrysler mini van to a Porsche turbo
I have been trying to return via email as per website. Tried 8 times with no response
I purchased a Swiss Diamond Nonstick 7. 2 qt Braiser with Glass Lid - (Induction)- in November 2024. Less than a year later, the coating started to flake and peel. I sent a series of pictures to the Warranty Team, as well as my Bank statement as proof of purchase. Sometime later I was contacted by the warranty team and informed that I would receive a replacement in accordance with the warranty claim terms. However, I was sent a 5 quart and not the 7. 2 quart pan that I had originally purchased. I informed customer service and the Warranty Team of the error but after a few phone calls I was informed that they were not willing to facilitate the return of the 5 quart pan to be replaced by a 7. 2 quart one. I am upset and feel cheated that after paying for a 7. 2 quart pan I am now stuck with a much smaller one. I feel this is unfair practice and would like a review of the situation, as well as for Swiss Diamond to send me the correct size 7. 2 quart pan.
