I did a lot, and I do me A LOT of research on new sewing machines. When you're spending a lot of money, you want to get the best deal but from a reputable company. I chose Carolina Forest Vacume & Sewing for a number of reasons. First, they were comparable or even a bit lower in price than even the big box stores/warehouses, and they offered FREE shipping, Second, they are an actual brick and morter store that has been around for a while. Third, I feel strongly about supporting small businesses in the United States. The entire process was seamless, and my items were shipped to me in a timely fashion and without any damage during transport. I have already gotten started on my next quilte project.
