I purchased the Generation Mindful time-in tool kit because I wanted to upgrade my skills. I had been reading their posts on Facebook and the science and reasoning really resonated with me. I moved from correcting (time out) to connecting (time in) while still setting limits. I look forward to the Generation Mindful posts and emails with tips and free printouts and use them regularly. I also suggest this program to families that I work with.

I find Generation Mindfull's work incredibile! A few month ago I did Suzanne's Parenting Course and all I'd learnt there makes my family life better. Using the resorces and many wanderful ideas I've developed my self-awareness. Slowly I've build in this new way of parenting into my everyday life and enjoy the freedom of constructing the life of my loved ones in an empowering way by the help of GenMindfull. I’ve been teaching kindergarten for 6 years, five with Generation Mindful, I’m also a new mom to a 5 month old. I can’t thank them enough for their age appropriate visuals and tools for dealing with big emotions. I’ve incorporated a Calming Corner in my room each year and students use the posters and techniques for regulating and I’m looking forward to using the kit with my son as he grows!

The knowledge, reassurance and emotional support that I get from the work Gen M do is phenomenal. We have a calming corner in our living room where we're helping our 3 year old son, and ourselves, develop our emotional intelligence and I cannot recommend it highly enough, as a resource. I was delighted to find out about the course "Positive Parenting" offered by Generation Mindful. I was a neurodivergent child, and wish my parents had had access to all of your helpful tips for raising a sensitive child. I have worked in public libraries for over 40 years and wish the parents I have observed (trying and failing to deal with their children's meltdowns) had memorized the parenting tips and phrases offered on your website. The world would be a better place if emotional education was recognized as just as important as any other school subject! My daughter has a fiery personality. I adore her feisty, head-strong determined attitude! I was raised in the children should be seen not listened to, cry and I’ll give ya something to cry about environment. Genmind helped teach me the tools to do better for my children. We get compliments about how polite and kind our children treat others. My daughter started the time-in social-emotional learning around age 2. When her little brother was born she was thrilled to teach him that emotions were valid and that there were better ways to express them. She has helped friends overcome big feelings as well. This program changed my family’s previous held beliefs! Thank you!

Absolutely love the products!! Company has good customer service as well! I deducted one star for the laminate quality. It seems to pull from the paper and wrinkle really easily and badly. Other than that, these are great! They are amazing awareness tools to add to any child’s routine!

I have to start by saying thank you for this gift . This has been just that a gift . I have a son who started using this at age 3, he was in a shared custody situation so it was difficult for him to navigate thru his feelings with different homes and house rules . The one Secuirty he had that helped him was this calm corner . He would have a big emotion and say I need my calm corner . We would do it together some days and others he did it alone . Skip now to a 7 year old who still loves and uses his calm corner on big emotional days . Some days it helps some days he needs a bit extra but is has become this safety net his safe place when this get to be too much . Thank you for giving him that safe place

Gen Mindful materials have not only helped my own kids name and process their emotions, they have also helped me. I use them in therapy sessions and at home.

The Calming Corner has been really helpful with my 7yo. He now knows the 4 main emotions and is getting much better at articulating his thoughts and what situation made him upset. Calming down has been a struggle, but he now asks to visit the Calming Corner with me. School and afterschool daycare have both adopted the calming activities to help him too. Our elementary school uses a model of restorative justice for behavior issues and the Gen Mindful program activities are a nice compliment. Understanding our emotions comes before we can successfully regulate our emotions.
