Stock of clothing and road bikes is now poor compared to competitors

A problem with the software? It wouldn't progress beyond wanting to charge £60 bike delivery for a set of mudguards. Left some feedback on the review pages same night and left my mobile number. Friday morning 6th August; got a call from Anna who calmly and politely confirmed the item was in stock, loaded the order, and advised the mudguards would be dispatched that day and also sent an email acknowledgement indicating delivery scheduled for Monday 9th August. Imagine my delight when DPD delivered the goods just before noon today Saturday 7th August which enabled me to get the mudguards fitted and the job done this same afternoon. Huge thanks to Anna & her colleagues at Leisure Lakes Bikes for a speedy and efficient resolution to a customer in need of help. Mustn't forget DPD as well. I traveled 70 miles to visit this store, I was impressed with the store, the stock and staff. I I purchased a saddle, not overly expensive at £55 but an impulse buy. At the check out the young man serving me said “is that all you want?” Slightly taken aback I asked if there were discount schemes, his reply of “why would I do that?” Was unnecessary and guarantees that I will never visit a Leisure Lakes store again. Avoid this store!

Ordered a bottle cage. Not arrived All through the checkout process at no point did it say the item would take 22 days to arrive. Happy enough to make my money but not supply the item in a timely manner. So not happy at all

In a year of extraordinary times and a failing bike with no brakes I have waited a year for stock to be available. As always I have found everything I need online from leisure lakes. The ease of ordering the emails confirming dispatch to the next day delivery has always been their forte. They did not disappoint. As for the products. Bloody marvellous of course.

Visited Daventry store to try jerseys on - had the right size but not the right colour. Ordered via the website at 3pm, product arrived 10am next day, even though i'd not paid for speedy post. Great service

Ordered a bike online, it was simple and straight forward to do, staff on the phone were friendly and very helpful and came delivered undamaged and very helpful and straight forward assembly guide.

Needed another Dualco grease gun and LL to the rescue as had one in stock ...popped a sticker on so I know what grease is in it! hahaha

We ordered two e-bikes late 2020, they took a few months to arrive ( pandemic delay) but we were kept informed, once they arrived they were built and prepared quickly ready for collection.Excellent service again from Ian and the team at Daventry, we brought many bikes from them over the last 20 years, and always find them helpful with great after-sales support and good value for money. They even honoured the pre Brexit prices . My only feedback is that they don’t have a shop near me in Suffolk yet ! Highly recommended.
