Just purchased a new Trek X calibre 9 from the bury branch, I was served by Matt and I can speak highly enough of him.. Young, enthusiastic and with loads of knowledge to help me with my purchase .. most importantly he didn’t make me feel rushed at all .. Daventry branch. After 2 weeks and 2 damage bikes from Another business I called Daventry Leisure Lakes Bikes store ( as that was the closest one to me ) at about 2pm to see if it would be possible to purchase and collect bike next day for my daughter as she was well disappointed seeing that . Gentlemen I spoke with firstly check that bike is in stock and then squeezed in assembly of the bike next morning so I could collected it that afternoon ( 5 star review is understatement) Me and my 6 year old made 3 hour round trip to get the bike and we still went for a bike ride that afternoon. I thought it will be quicker to get the bike from another shop as Leisure Lakes was quoting on the website about 7 days , but as it turned out the other shops where delivering poorly secured bikes that were not assembled and that resulted in mechanical damages in transport. Leisure Lakes assemble their bikes so you have a piece of mind that bike is fully in working condition and ready to use. I since made another purchase with them for bike part via ebay and I had a part within 3 days. Terrible customer service. Completely messed up my delivery address. Was on holiday with my family and had to use up my time to sort out the correct address. After various emails and conversations it was sorted. Store manager on my initial call was very rude and dismissive of my issues. i would honestly say that initial call was the worst i have been spoken too by a retailer. The following calls he was much more helpful. However too late and my son recieved his main birthday present 2 days late. Also bike turned up with the forks the wrong way round and the headset loose. I would not use again..............
