The green is even better looking in person really liking this and I wear a flannel or a merino wool long sleeve undershirt underneath it maybe with a vest from Boreal mountain underneath depending on the temperature outside and easily 10 below no big deal .Nice fit I do wish it had a taller collar but it's not bad as it is. Maybe a color matching touque in the future hint hint. Thank you again I do have one of your anorak on my Christmas list we'll see how that works out 😉

Another quality product! Every garment I have ever purchased from them was exceedingly well engineered and built. I have yet to wear one out. They are my "go to" place for outdoor clothing.

The Titon Poncho is a beast. A real addition to the Wool Anorak as a complete system. Treated canvas will be stiff in cold weather but extremely useful in the spring and fall. Big thumbs up on the depth of the product line.

Recently ordered and received the Buffalo plaid jacket and blanket. The jacket is a work of art. Fit is perfect per Andy's recommendation based on my sizing. Jacket I have been wearing every day. Sometimes with no shirt as it's a quick middle of the night wander with a dog. I expected it to itch as typical for wool. But I find it very comfortable even on bare skin. Blanket was just put on the bed last night. Definitely looking forward to the cooler weather. This will be a great addition to the cabin. I will be investing in more products down the road. These are money well spent.

I recently picked up the red Buffalo Wool Over Shirt. I am very happy with this so far. The weather is starting to get cold in the mornings so it's nice to get some use out of it. Very warm but not stuffy like a synthetic equivalent might be. I find I'm comfortable without overheating. I've had my eye on an anorak for the last year but the winters in central Nova Scotia don't get cold enough for me to really get good use out of one. I feel like the over shirt is the perfect garment for the job. Also - don't get confused by the name. This is more of a jacket or heavy sweater. I am 6'5 235 lbs and I ordered the XL. I find it fits extremely well across the shoulders, chest, and the length of the body and arms is dead on for my size. I do find the upper section of the arm to be a bit baggy. I could probably fit 3 of my arm widths in it. The area around the belly is also pretty wide. I initially thought I would return it for the large but after wearing it a bit more I decided the areas that fit perfectly would be too small so I stuck with the XL. I'm glad I did. That said, fitting a sweater under this for colder temps would be really easy and comfortable. I am looking forward to a chilly winter this year! Thanks to Andy for helping me with all my questions. These products are expensive (the quality if defiantly reflected in that!) so I wanted to be sure I was getting the right thing. He answered my questions within the hour of me emailing their support email. I would definitely recommend picking one of these up for the spring/fall or the winter if you live in a milder section of the country like I do.

JUST PRELIMINARY USE AROUND THE YARD (JUST ARRIVED) I ORDERED A LARGE (6'4" 180LBS) HAS ROOM INSIDE HAD A SHIRT AND VEST ON AT THE TIME PLENTY OF SPACE BUT DIDNT FEEL TO BIG LONG SLEEVE SHIRT UNDERNEITH WOULD BE FINE THICK OR THIN OR NOT :) SO FAR REALLY HAPPY WITH COLOUR AND FIT CANT WAIT TO WALK THE DOGS WILL UPDATE WITH MORE MILES ON

By far the coolest garment I own very well made. The wolverine trim looks amazing. I’m 5’10 about 200 pounds and the large fits me but if you are anywhere north of Kentucky you should get the xl for the space for layering. I would get the xl if I ordered again. I just got the Wolverine trim for looks basically however I would definitely get the side slits no matter what!

Buffalo wool shirt is one of the best wool shirts I have, along with it's warmth providing fabric with softness made me in love with it.

First, absolutely amazing jacket. The wool is top notch and a very good cut for my body. At lot of attention has been put towards making this jacket and it shows. Second, go by the sizing guide. My usual size is a xxl, but according to the sizing guide I am a medium. I was thrown off by that since I haven’t been a medium since high school, but I contacted customer support to confirm and ordered the medium. It fits perfectly.

All three colors in plaid are pretty good which makes it difficult to choose which one to buy and quality of the blanket looks really nice, feels soft and warm enough. I personally love it and looking forward to such more new products to buy. Thanks BMA

I bought the Rough Anorak and was surprised how big it was...even measuring up the sizes still I should have gone for a size smaller (medium not large)...but nevertheless really happy with the product...since we are coming into Summer here in Germany really waiting for winter to really test drive it. I tried the tourch light test...there was hardly any light coming through the garment showing how densly packed the wool weave is...Even though its 95% wool nevertheless its perfectly fine on the skin for me and no itching. It does not completely keep the wind out but even in strong winds its very cosy. I bought the rough since I wanted it to go under my Swazi tahr! Honestly its a perfect match...very very good combo...very happy with the two together... for anyone that has a swazi tahr and wants to really have a good middle layer that really keeps out the cold then you have the rough plus the wind/waterproof outer layer to cover you from the elements and keep you cosy in really cold conditions. Will definitely save up the penny to purchase a Loden Anorak and blanket at a later date...thank you Boreal Mountain Anoraks...the workmanship on the garmen is really top class...great stiching ...will last me my life time...well worth it!! Thanks a bunch!

I love the quality this company produces! Just ordered my wool pants. Paired up with my Loden Anorak I will be all set with what ever winter throws our way👍🤗 I get so many compliments on my Anorak I am sure the pants will be no different. Bringing wool back into preeminence!

Everything that - Andy is top notch. There is no holding back on his products what so ever with that said living in Montreal my self I need to see him real soon.

I boast about the warmth, functionality and durability of all my Boreal Mountain products. More than happy to recommend anyone to use Boreal's fine products. I've spent many hours in the last few years I wool and canvas anoraks from wind, rain sleet and sub -40°C weather with no trouble. Multi day winter camp and pulk pulling. In the last 3 years of 3 season use I have zero defects. I now have 2 canvas, and 3 Loden anoraks which I have shared with my two sons. Youngest at 5yrs. I have no hesitation to have him along on winter treks at -30°C . Andy's team graciously custom made the child's (one of a kind).

I love it. It's very well made, no poor stitching or seems that feel like they'll pull apart at the first snag. It's a well thought out design and I love the protection around the neck. Very comfortable and easy to pull over. I've only had it in -10°c in a light T-shirt but was perfectly comfortable and it breathes better than other coats when you're active. Now I'm eyeing up the loden green one...

Well what can i say. I always fond something on my clothes that i dont like. I realy like quality garment. I havent used it much but this is quality for real and i havent found anything that i dont like with it. Its realy well made. So thank for this one👍

Very well made. I haven’t had it out on a camping trip yet, but have worn it a bit and it’s comfortable. I’m 6’0” 220 and I’d get an XL. Also, I’d get the slits otherwise it would be a bit of a pain to get stuff out of your pants pockets.

These are the real deal. I have the Loden Anorak with slits, and I absolutely love the two black and olive green vests I have. (Can’t go anywhere without someone commenting on them) Great craftsmanship and superior felted wool all made here in NA. Don’t cheep out buying other nock off products online, these are lifetime purchases. Besides the owner is a great gentleman to work with.
