The question here was, "what do you like and dislike",. . . . well, what's NOT to like about Ryan and his team that set me up with a twin woofer system. With a under the rear seat in my 2020 GMC Crew Cab Canyon Truck. The enclosure, woofers, amp, bass knob, tuning for rock to hard rock and install is perfect ! I've had a business in Lincoln, Ne. install systems in my Pro-Street Camaro and one truck with heads, amps and 2 woofers, but I will travel the 60 miles (even though I'm near Lincoln) to have Ryan and the guys install everything again and again in every vehicle I own !

Dropped vehicle off at 9 am. Was never updated until I reached out. Gloved were left in my vehicle and my front hood was not shut when I drove off. I feel the job was done very well but communication could be better. At least confirm appointment via text or email. Still happy with the work!

They installed a stereo and steering wheel control module. When I got the car back, only the volume control on the steering wheel worked as it should. When I asked, Stereo West said that the phone function has never worked with the unit they installed. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that the unit works with my car and I should take it back to Stereo West to have them manually program the steering wheel control unit. I have taken it back twice and none of the switch functions other than volume and source are correctly assigned. I'm taking the car to another company and having the control unit Stereo West installed taken out and a new one installed

I see negative reviews for stereo west, which did have me a little concerned. I went ahead and made an appointment though and I am glad I did. I mainly worked with Daryl, the store manager, and her was very knowledgeable and answered several questions for me, was very professional as were all of the other employees that I encountered. Got an amp and sub hooked up, remote start installed, and all side windows tinted. Done in less then 1 day, everything works great and couldn't find a cheaper price out there. I'm about to go back for wheels and tires in the coming days. Thanks.

Such nice fellas, they've done my underglow now for 11 years. I found myself in a pickle with them not working. They had mercy on me and got my vehicle all back together.... thank you so much!!

Im writing this review because stereo west does bad business! on or around June !2 or 13 I went in to stereo west to see if they had a sub that would work with my JL 1000x1I was sold a Sony 12" sub the sales man named Ryan told me it would work I just needed to tuen my amp down low.i agreed so I brought the speaker installed it played it very low volume for about 2 hours then I cranked it up some and after about a 3 minute song it was smoking.so I went back to the store on the rolling Monday and Ryan gave me another Sub same thing happened with this Sub at this point I went and brought a Skar 15" sub and box no problem what so ever.so I returned to the store and talked to Ryan and asked for a refund. he said he was not giving me my money back.and that I had a bad AMP mind you I went to south side audio and had the amp checked and it was fine so I brought the Skar 15" I told Ryan I got a 15" with no problems and my amp wasn't bad .so he said he was not gonna give me my money back and all he could do was send it to Sony for repair. I was really upset so he took the speaker and sent it off around June 15th and said be like 4 to 6 weeks to get back well they called me a couple days ago and said we have your speaker. this is not the first time I brought something from stereo west .I ordered some speakers and never installed them my son crashed my truck.i had the receipt the box was never opened. stereo west is bad business I would never recommend any one to them. THEY WILL NEVER GIVE YOU A REFUND.stay away from that place.I have contacted the better business bureau.

I brought in a 98 GMC Sierra that is my baby and in great shape. Years ago I put an aftermarket radio in and it was an eye sore with a clunky interface. I wanted an update that looked like it belonged in the dash as well as gaining touchscreen, apple car play, gps, and a backup camera. I also had an amplifier I bought years ago but never got around to installing. They finished the install on time and for the amount of money they quoted for the work. It is a clean interface and blends into the dash as it was in the vehicle when I bought it. Excellent work, I could not be happier! Highly recommend!

This is the second time in 3 years I brought a vehicle to Stereo West Elkhorn they explain what they put in it’s the right price and they install is like factory, just a great job. Another bonus is dealing with the same people again, DOUG is just fantastic

I took my F-150 pickup to have them look at my hyperblinking left flasher. Charged me $90.00 just to make an appointment. They told me it could not be fixed. Would order me an new one for $500.00+ plus three hours of labor. I took it to Bellevue Tire and Auto and said it was just some lose wires and just charged me $89.00 for labor. I saved over $800.00. Did Stereo West even look at it and just kept my $90.00 I should get a refund.

Remote start installation works perfectly, however did not install the unit quoted to me. The unit installed installed is a cheaper version of what was quoted. Never was told of change. But it works....

The 2 pairs of speakers I purchased were hard for me to find. They were on order with ANOTHER popular stereo shop, but they did not deliver.I waited for (about) a month,no one called me.I had to call them, then they told me they were on back-order. I told them to refund my money, and I found you Guys. You had the product, and you delivered.I needed a sub, box, and amp., but I wanted to see if you guys would come thru first.Great job!
