In love with my boots, totally worth the long wait!!! Definitely will be ordering another pair

I was really anticipating my two boots that I purchased from modern vice. Upon arrival they were pristine and new. Once I wore them I quickly came to realize how flimsy they were in material and quality. If the ground is remotely wet, the soles of the boots would absorb water and expand like they were made of cardboard. The paint at the bottom of the soles ebbed off after one wear like they were painted on and were a coat of acrylic paint. Did a 2nd grader make my shoes? I immediately had to get them sole'd with rubber by a cobbler since modern vice shoes aren't made for terrain of any kind out-of-the-box. You guys specialize in shoes rhat actually function right? Or do you just make shoes that look good but fail in practice? It's been a 7 months since I've purchased these 2 pairs and I've worn them all but a handful of times. The fit is not consistent between the pairs even though I bought the same size. Disappointed is an understatement. The feeling is more akin to being let down by a good looking hire who doesn't know how to do his job. Pity, disappointment and frustration. tuanhha@gmail.com

Took 7 months to get. Sent the wrong size had to wait to get the correct size that fit the same as the wrong size.
