I am loving Jamplay. I have been playing guitar for a very long time and not getting very far. I am now learning proper technique and I'm also loving guitar theory which I knew very little of. With time I am sure my playing will improve. I'm also very impressed with the instructors .

The videos and tutorials are awesome, very informative. I feel that I am getting much more value than what I actually paid for. I have already recommended this website to others.

Very satisfied so far with the variety of teachers and genres, the supplemental materials, and access to great tools to help with the journey. Will definitely continue my membership.

I completed Nomad's latest lessons and enjoyed them very much. Great value.I have been studying Marcelo Berestovoy and his courses and for a person who does not sing and is playing solo at home, I would recommend his courses to anyone. Am looking forward to whatever else he has to bring to the table

I've got a little guitar experience, so I'm rolling through the beginner lessons pretty quickly, picking up quite a lot of stuff my face to face teacher didn't cover, or covered much later. It's not just playing by rote, I'm picking up some of the theory I've been missing.My 11 year old son has been trying the kid's lessons, but has found it moving too fast for him, though more patience and practice may have gotten him through this. The patience of a child. What can I say.

Signed up and logged in a few times and enjoyed the lessons but then went on 4 week vacation and did not have the opportunity to continue. Now back and ready to continue. Will give it a another full month before a real evaluation.

To begin with I retired a year and a half ago. I have played an acoustic guitar off and on since 1965. I never stayed with it long enough to get any good at it. But I have always been proficient at chords and fingerpicking. After retiring I found a good deal on a used Mexican Strat and a Cube 30 amp. I set out to learn how to play lead or solo guitar. Being retired I have as much time as I want to practice. I took lessons from a completely free site for 10 months. It was a great site with a terrific teacher. But I got just so far and was left with questions. Then I went to a "pay as you go" type of site. Where I had to purchase lessons. Each set of lessons would leave holes, to fill in those holes you had to buy another lesson. I get emails from that site almost daily telling me about a new lesson plan, and that I have just so many hours to purchase it before the price goes up. I spent around $300 there over about 3 months before I discovered JamPlay. I paid for one month and was so overwhelmed. Everything I want to learn how to do is here. The biggest downside is knowing I can't learn everything at once. Exercising restraint to work on one thing while seeing all these other things out there. If I find any holes in what I am being taught, I plug them into the search, and 20 lesson plans come up.About 10 days in I knew this is where I need to be and paid for a year.

JamPlay is the ultimate way to learn guitar. I have been playing guitar since last year and I cannot find a better learning app for the guitar. It's worth every penny. These instructors finely detail everything I want to learn and also include extras like tablature to go along with the lessons. Perfect for beginner to intermediate musicians.

This is a great program, and if you are willing to commit to the lessons and practice the exercises, you will learn guitar. I am just starting at the beginners level, and I am confident that I will learn to play the guitar. The instructors seem very knowledgeable about the guitar, music theory, and music history. I plan to gain as much knowledge as I can absorb, and practice-practice-practice......

Just started using Jam Play, my opinion is a little limited. So far so good, really like the way songs are taught. I've tired learning some songs from you-tube, the songs on you-tube are taught well, but you have to rewind a lot and the camera angles are tough to see, especially when it comes to the finger picking. On jam play the fingering is play slowly and repeated to make sure you get it, just what I need until I improve.

The instructors are very knowledgeable and down-to-earth and the user interface is outstanding.

So far, I like what i've seen.

I really like just about everything on Jamplay.com. It is extremely convenient for me. The only thing that concerns me is that some lesson sites jump from extremely easy to advanced beginner with nothing in between. This occurs in genre lessons. If I could not read music there would be times I was a little lost. I have not investigated beyond genre. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience on Jamplay.com.

I have only been using Jamplay.com for a few weeks and have found the lesson material easy to follow and a great way to learn guitar. Also you can go at your own pace, and any lessons that you find more challanging can be viewed as many times as you need! All round a great learning experiance.

Great content and a wonderful array of teachers delivering it. I've not been with jamplay.com for long, but I'm really enjoying learning with them. Any negatives?Only a couple. 1.) The android app doesn't appear to be compatible with my particular kindle. 2.) There is no way to cache videos offline for circumstances where you have no internet.
